Reef N Beyond Eco Tours

Had a fantastic Balls Pyramid Tour on 17 March 2023. It is a must do tour on Lord Howe Island. Certainly the highlight of our week. Dave and Oscar entertained us with their wit and excellent commentary on their knowledge of LHI and Balls Pyramid.They gave us plenty of photo opportunities on both sides of the boat. It’s a photographers dream.The boat for the tour was excellent with good visibility.Highly recommend. May I suggest you book well in advance if possible as it’s very popular.Bob and Lauren.

Glenys and Dave were super friendly with both booking and the tour out to Balls Pyramid. The boat wash the Admiral top class and Dave gave everyone the opportunity to take great photos. He explained everything well and the snorkelling experience over near the Admiralty Islands was unique.

It was a wonderful trip around the island and then over to Ball’s Pyramid. Lots of information and opportunities for photography. Being able to snorkel at Balls was an amazing experience. Highly recommend this trip.

Huge thanks to all the guys at Reef N Beyond . Dave & Oscar took us down to the Southern snorkelling spots and we weren't disappointed. Daves obvious passion & local knowledge kept us informed we saw so many different varieties of Fish & Coral. We spotted a stunning Moray Eel and so lucky to see Two very shy Hawksbill Turtles . Dave & Oscar kept us informed the whole trip and we honestly didn't want the experience to end ...we were already planning our 2nd trip on the way home as it was so good.Just when you feel it can't possibly get any better ,it did ! Our 2nd trip with Reef N beyond Eco Tours took us on the Guided Galapagos Shark Encounter . This was an experience we will never forget ,we were so lucky to have perfect conditions . Dave also provided us with education regarding Sharks and their behaviour this was so interesting and helped us relax and make the most of our time with them. Amazing trip with Dave and Oscar to Balls Pyramid today...sightseeing and snorkelling......yes bucket list stuff. ..Great boat , chilled vibe and plenty of chat about all the nature and history. Dave expertly manoeuvred the boat close to rocks and cliffs for max wow factor and went right around Lord Howe which we didn't expect. Great value trip, highly recommend

I would highly recommend this tour when visiting LHI. You must see Balls Pyramid to believe it. It just sticks up out of the ocean and getting so close gives you a sense of the magnitude of it. David and Ash were really enthusiastic about ensuring that all passengers enjoyed the afternoon. David steered the boat so that both sides had plenty of photo opportunities. David's commentary and knowledge added to the value of the tour.

I booked the Balls Pyramid Tour my last stay at Lord Howe Island. Definitely a must when visiting. You have a tour around the whole island, including the Admiralty Islands. You get to see a lot of sea birds on the way, fish & we saw some dolphins. Plus Dave is a great character!

We had a great day out, travelling around the island and visiting Ball's Pyramid in good conditions. Dave and Oscar were friendly and informative hosts. We enjoyed snorkelling in the lee of Ball's Pyramid and saw plenty of fish and some small turtles. It was good value for money and very professionally run.
