It's sad to say that one particular staff member dampened my experience with this clinic after spending a few months regularly getting my dying dog checked there before his final day. I say she is in the wrong job when she tells a client to simply google a home vet" to come and euthanise their dog. He had deteriorated quite rapidly in a couple of hours. She offered no assistance on the phone to help ease my distress. I don't remember her name however

Dealt with Dr Fraser with the care of our unwell German Shepard. When the time came Dr Fraser did an excellent job of helping to ease an already painful situation for us. There are many small differences that add up to one large difference. The effort is noticed and appreciated.

My family has been visiting Aspley Vet Practice for years with our two cats and I have always found them to be so professional, caring and compassionate. The main vet we have seen over the years is Dr Jill Retell who has been so kind and respectful of our pets, family's needs and situation. We lost one of our cats recently, which was very sad, but Jill helped make the process so much more bearable and comfortable for our pet.

I called this vets after being unable to get into my usual vets when my dog was sick. They fit my dog in as an emergency and were so reassuring and friendly. The service was faultless and very thorough.

Disappointed in this practice twice over now. All vets I’ve seen are great, very friendly and informative. It’s the vet nurses and reception staff that I’ve had bad & rude experiences with. The first time I called them they told me I need to remember that the puppy is under my partner’s name, not mine, if I’m going to call them again. Was very rude how she stated this and was clearly bothered, but given we had literally never called them since our first appointment and didn’t know which name he was under, this was uncalled for and shouldn’t even have bothered her. This morning, I attended for a puppy dental check (which they told me they would call me to book- never received anything of this nature, so don’t count on them for that). Nurse was rude to me and was clearly not in a very good mood, she tried to look at my puppies teeth for about two minutes (less I think) out the back before telling me there’s nothing she can do but sedate him. I asked, as the owner, why don’t I try to open his mouth for you, rather than you taking him out the back? I tried for no more than 30 seconds before she said there’s nothing she can see except my fingers and said he’ll need to be sedate for her to look at his teeth. This is a 4kg toy breed puppy. You would really think that a vet practice would at the very least spend more than a minute trying to do the right thing by the owners before immediately resorting to sedation. Not toMention she was rude about the whole process, we won’t be going back.

The best vets we have found in Brisbane, after going to a one-off appointment we have decided to make this our regular vet because the staff are so friendly, helpful and professional! Highly recommend

I originally brought my catto in for a bandage removal, but due to some problems with chaffing, his leg was in a bit of a state. The advice they provided to me, and the care that Denise took of my Jojo buddy, was incredible, and he has recovered fully and quickly.The entire staff were just amazingly nice and polite, and made the experience as painless (both on myself and my wallet!) as possible. Highly recommended to anyone needing care for their little buddies.

Aspley Vet have looked after our two cats Chewie and Salem for the last 2-3 years.They are always professional and friendly, and the vet has the up most care and patience, particularly with Chewie who has high anxiety whenever he goes to the vet.Always accommodating, even on short notice.I can highly recommend Aspley Vet!

Had my cat checked out for an allurgic reaction down his leg. My little guy is well on the mend. The staff were really wonderful and caring, I think vets are some of the most wonderful people and the staff here are no different. Thanks very much for helping my kitty

I've been taking my Chihuahuas to Aspley Veterinary Practice since I've had them. The vets are so caring and understand my pets needs. They remember my dogs and know their personalities and cater their care to suit each of them. I'll never take my pets to anyone else.
