Vanilla pod food & Espresso Bar

We had breakfast here with the family. I had a cookie and cream thick shake. This was OK, but the thickshake flavour was far too sweet for my liking. My uncle had a banana and honey smoothie, which like the name, tasted very basic, but he enjoyed it. My little brother had a small bowl of chips which he loved. I tried one, and the chips were delicious, the right amount of salt, and perfectly cooked! My grandfather and I had an egg and bacon roll, which we assumed was a burger with egg and bacon. However, it was presented like tradition egg and bacon, with 2 pieces of a burger upturned and 2 eggs and 2 bacon on each, it was still delicious, but the eggs could be cooked a bit more, but that's just me. They did mess up our order, and there were 2 or 3 different things that we didn't order or were wrong, however, it was the morning rush and I can forgive them considering they did their best to fix the mistake. Overall it was a nice experience, but I, personally, wouldn't go again.2 weeks update: We went again, and the food and service was a lot better this time. It was quicker, and I had the eggs Benedict with hashbrowns which was delicious. I had a hot chocolate which was yummy and not too chocolatey. My family has the egg and bacon roll again, and they said that it was a lot better, overall, it was amazing, and loved the experience this time.

Great taste , good food, great serve, will visit again helping staff and owner, best cafe in town.. too good breakfast and great roasted coffee..

Used to serve fair portions according to a fast pace. These days, service is slow (even when only 3 other tables are occupied) and the food is low-quality. I recently ordered an Eggs Benedict. It took half an hour for it to arrive. The cheese tasted horrible and the bread tasted like a cheap purchase. I note that the man at the counter who greeted me barely said hello - with no smile. Never again. Oh, and they no longer provide salt and pepper packets at the table.

We were greeted with a happy smile the sevice was excellent the food was quite quick it tasted delicious first tume going there would go back again when i visit albury and lavington again

Had lunch on Sunday at Vanilla pod food and espresso bar.Food was awesome. Couldn't fault the meal at all.Service was good even with a stuff up on the order. They checked on us a few times to ensure everything was OK.Would highly recommend eating here. 4.5 stars.

Food ok , service very slow. Depending on where you sit up the back of the restaurant is dark and gloomy

Vanilla Pod is awesome. Been having coffee and lunch here for several years. We usually chose this place over more expensive places in Albury because we know the food and service will always be excellent. It can get very busy at times so you might have to wait a little bit but you can see the staff are flat out working. The food and coffee are still worth the ocassional small wait.
