The 6 “En Tout Cas” (clay) courts are in reasonably condition for a suburban club. This surface is good for an ageing player like me. There is “give” in the surface, without it being slippery. If you fall over, you may get a bit of gravel rash, but that, most likely, will be the worst of it. I feel I am unlikely to get an ankle or knee injury, particularly compared to a hard court.Also this surface has a slow high bounce, resulting in longer rallies. Although, particularly if you let the court dry out, the bounce can be a bit erratic. So make sure you keep the playing surface well watered.

Great courts, great events, great people. Coburg Tennis Club is a leading tennis club in Victoria that hosts great open court sessions where you can have a hit, have some food and drinks and listen to some awesome music while meeting amazing people. Open Court sessions are highly recommended for people of all ages, and they even have women's only sessions too. Also great courts for those that want to play with friends or family - it is a great idea to become a member if you play more than a couple of times a year! :)

Seriously they have to revamp their clay courts. Its slippery, uneven surface, bumpy lines. Should not play competitions in those courts. Sorry for the rating.
