Maleny Trail
A walk that can start and finish in the town of Maleny or take you to Gardeners Falls, while following the flow of the Obi Obi Creek. The landscape that you traverse has shown great resilience and is quiet diverse. It takes you to places where people have been for tens of thousands of years. The walk shows how nature uses its resilience to renew the landscape after logging and clearing the land for pastures. The Maleny Trail goes around the Golf Course in many places. There are panoramic views and calm places to hear the flowing waters of the Obi Obi Creek. The bird life will sing to you. You can find peace and calm along your journey....Renew your being and your wisdom...on the Maleny Trail that crosses the town at the bridge and the roundabout. The trail can lead you to wonderful events like the Maleny Wood Expo.....held at the showgrounds...

A lovely cool walk through the bush from Maleny Showgrounds to the township. Although it isn't very long it was so much nicer than going along the road. Enter past the tennis courts at the end of showgrounds.

Maleny Trail
The walk through the bush is very pretty but very short, the trail is mostly through the town which is lovely if you want to see the town, I was hoping for more of a bush walk.

Maleny Trail
The Maleny Trail and Wetlands Walk mostly follows the Obi Obi Creek and comprises concrete, asphalt & boardwalk surfaces wide enough for a couple to walk comfortably side by side. The trail head is located within the Maleny Showgrounds (13 Maleny Stanley River Road) and the circuit is 6.7 km in length. The first part provides easy access to the lower end of town, which is handy for travelers camping at the showgrounds. This section includes the Obi Obi Boardwalk and passes through a revegetated creek line. When you emerge at Coral Street, continue down past the library and either cross over Bunya Street at the bridge near the roundabout, or walk through Tesch Park and underneath the bridge. Public toilets are available in Tesch Park.If the plentiful choice of coffee shops and cafes don't draw you up into Maple Street, the main hub of town, follow the boardwalk that overlooks the creek below. The walk from here offers 'Peace in the Trees' sculptures, a platypus viewing area, the Obi Picnic Area, the Reynolds Circuit Boardwalk, the Maleny Golf Course, Fairview" Pattemore House (check opening details on-line) and access to the Northern Wetlands Walk. A side-walk to Gardner's Falls can be taken near Reynolds Circuit. The trail is peaceful
