Amazing staff. I called to try and book my cat into the cat accommodation, and they were booked out. The lady I was talking too took my number and hooked me up with a staff member who does day visits/cat sitting. Worked out perfectly. Thank you so much!

My cat was paralysed from a tick. He had difficulty breathing and couldn't eat. Within two days they had him eating, breathing well and walking. He's back home and improving every day. I appreciated the phone calls each morning and evening to tell me if his progress.Thank you!!!!

Such lovely and caring people. They made Franky feel like a rockstar, and he loves the liver treats they share with him. Easy patch up on a small cut, and a wagging tail when we left meant a great outcome for this boy. Thank you so much for your care and attention. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good price and treated my dog well.

We can't thank the staff and vet at Austinmer Vets enough for the care and compassion they showed to us when we brought our very elderly cat in to be put to sleep after he became unwell. The reception staff lit a candle at the front desk on our behalf, the vet explained the whole process to us and we were allowed to spend all the time we needed with our beloved pet. We were very distressed and the vet in particular was amazing. Thank you for everything you did for us and our cat Herbie.

The girls at the front counter are great excellent customer service and very professional. The veterinarian is amazing will animals. He was awesome with my 2 cats. Will always be taking my animals there.Thank u to u all for being amazing and always great with my animals

If you want a vet that truly cares, this is the place to go. Beautiful staff that go the extra mile, they always call back to check in on our pets progress.

Nice practice, staff very friendly but it's a little pricey. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good veterinary practice.

5.1.21 - Just adding to my review from 2 years ago as I've had just another great experience at Austinmer Vets. We now have a Siberian Husky puppy in our family, so along with our cat, he now is looked after by Austinmer Vets.Within a month of getting him he managed to eat & swallow 2 of my daughters socks! I was in quite a panic and didn't know how to handle this.As it was After Hours I didn't know if I could get help late at night, so I rang the Clinic and spoke to Dr Jarrod Coleman, who said I could come in straight away and not to worry as he could help. Well, he was just amazing. He managed to keep me calm and was incredible with my puppy (who now loves him!). He had to induce him to vomit so the socks would not go further into his stomach and within 5 minutes the socks were back out and my puppy was 100% again.This was such a relief and Jarrod's experience, knowledge & calm demeanor were wonderful and very much appreciated. I'm so glad my puppy is now part of the Austinmer family and couldn't recommend them highly enough. My dog will be looking forward to vaccinations if he gets those kinds of pats & treats when he goes again.Thanks so much.------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------I have used Austinmer Vets for well over a decade now - for surgery on my cats, cleaning wounds, vaccinations and even cat boarding. I couldn't recommend this Clinic (and their Helensburgh clinic also) highly enough. The vets and staff are extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, caring & thoughtful. I know I can trust them with my pet and they know how much my pet means to my family & I. They will explain process of a surgery, the care required after and they even don't mind how many times I ring to ask advice or to check on my cat while we are on holidays. It is clear they have a passion for animals and what they do and I'm very appreciative of their service.

Recently our pug Millie has had to go to the doggy doctor's multiple times. I'm so grateful knowing she will be well cared for by the amazing team at Austi Vets. 5 STARS!
