Heard about Noble Oak from a friend who shared with us that they offer good price. We happened to be shopping around for a different life insurance as we’re paying quite a lot for our current one. Got a call from a sales consultant, Kar, who is really friendly, helpful, and supportive (a plus point for saying our names, especially mine, effortlessly - not a lot of people can). She took the time explaining in details all things we’d like and need to know. Got the first two months free as well, and was informed that we can nominate date for the monthly payment. Haven’t had the experience as we just signed up (hence the four stars) but all in all a good one so far

Nobeloak underwriter refused offers me income protection when I said I am working in ndis house in community, two months before they said they could offers in income protection when I said I am working in ndis house, not understand their policy, keep changing every months, not recomend to other people though I still have life insurance with Nobeloak

I’ve been a loyal customer to NobleOak for almost 2 years and on auto debit. However, i moved house and lost my wallet with all my ATM cards. My insurance has not been paid for few months and NobleOak kept sending a post mail without giving me any call or e-mail to let me know i am delinquent. The fact that i am paying almost $200 a month, and they can’t even give you a courtesy call to discuss you missed payments is so ridiculous. Until i was in the hospital and checked if i am still covered, only to find out my account has been deactivated. The agent on the phone reactivated my insurance and i got sick for 6 weeks.I made a claim when i was better and had to schedule multiple appointments with my GP just for him to answer all the questions for my claim. Took my 3 paid appointments just to finish it because it took time to accomoplish. I managed to submit my claim and waited months for the final decision.Today is April 24th 2023, i lodged my claim around November of last year and got a call today that my claim has been rejected. They sent me email 2 weeks ago that my claim will be closed due to missed document such as a copy of passport. How ridiculous that they cant give you a single call.The agent called me today saying my claim was not approved because i reactivated my insurance when i was in the hospital. But before that, i have been paying this insurance on time. Only had problems with my payment info due to unexpected circumstances. No compassion from them, no courtesy of giving you a call. Kept sending mail to my old address. If only i knew i’ve been on late payments, i would’ve sort it out and not lose my insurance.Such a total waste of money, unreliable, no courtesy and incompassionate behaviour of the people on the phone.So upsetting. Imagine relying to this insurance in case you needed them and unable to make a claim because its your fault not to know that you’ve not been paying insurance for a while. Again, a single call from you guys would have helped me sort things out.If these review has not been heard or looked into, i will be cancelling my insurance and move to a different provider.

This is the first time I came into contact with Nobleoaks. The experience is surprisingly good. Staffs are very helpful, scheduled phone appointment which suit my needs. Sales consultant Anthony explained everything nice and clearly. Ted followed up my application on timely yet no pressure manner. The whole experience is comfortable and efficient. Thank you!

Lack of any online portal to do anything means you just spend forever on their 1300 lines. Upside the cover is cheap and cheerful -- though no idea how a claims process would go. You can't pay with a card, they just have this overnight debit authority which is irritating.Genuinely, I wouldn't both with it. Can't give you financial advice in a Google Review but look elsewhere for more convenience.-- Read your response. That's not accurate. When you have a card, and you need it processed it doesn't happen instantaneously, it takes 1-3 business days. So that isn't a card payment, it must be something else you're using like the DEFT system. I'll give you a call, but no, you don't really have card payments where someone can call up and you pay by card.

Dear Noble Oak, I want to say that the service I received from Karineh (Kar), was better than the 5 star rating, more like a 10! Kar was efficient, courteous, great follow up and follow through, not to mention her knowledge of the services and products. My experience was made to be stress free. I wish that more organisations had people like Kar representing them. I would certainly recommend Kar for any lead role in your organisation, she simply 'gets the customer'.On the other hand, I must say that your organisation finds no issue with discriminating against me, 64 year old non drug user who doesn't drink alcohol, by adding a 50% loading to my premiums for my occasional use of government approved, general practitioner prescribed, pharmacist dispensed medicinal cannabis as a result of my 'bad back', which I am on Income Protection and out of work since March 2021. As Kar has provided outstanding service your Chief Medical Officer and underwriting team have sullied the overall experience with obvious antiquated outlooks. I assume they would prefer I take opioid style pain killers that will damage my organs and possibly becoming addictive, with no loading to my premium???
