Tried HBS out for the first time this week, have to say I am completely amazed with the outcome! Tammy was the most wonderful hairdresser I have encountered, gave me perfect results and was incredibly kind. Was nervous at first with the hair cut I was asking but Tammy reassured me and 100% pulled through. Definitely book Tammy at HBS if you are looking for a fashion forward hairdresser :)

I have recently had my hair cut and coloured and it was amazing! However I just had myself and my bridesmaids hair and make up done at HBS. The girls were lovely and even put on a little snack for us! Both the hair and the makeup was perfect and exactly what we wanted/asked for. The staff helped to keep the morning calm by being kind and friendly and even got us out of the salon early!

The whole experience at HBS was flawless.All of the staff were absolutely lovely and so accomodating, the salon is gorgeous!I was there for a Keratin straightening treatment, my first time having this done, Britt explained the whole process to me before starting and took the time to talk me through each stage of the treatment as she went.I am so happy with the outcome & have already booked my next appointment.

Taylor was such a lovely stylist to work with and I’m grateful for her help. She styled my hair for a formal and was sure to cater to my needs, leaving the curls tighter so they would last all day and offering me advice on how to handle it. She was friendly, helpful and contentious of my time limits. Really appreciated her.

This salon is not like any other, you genuinely feel welcome and that your hair is being cared for whereas other salons just want to do their job with no extra effort for their customers. I’ve tried so many different salons in the area but they don’t beat HBS! I’ve had my hair done a few times with them, my hair has always looked amazing when leaving their salon. I had my hair done yesterday with Tammy.. she is amazing! She knows exactly what she is doing and knows what you want ❤️

Had my usual eyebrow treatment with Chloe who is amazing, but while I was organising my next appointment I was getting some great tips from the wonderful Taylor about my hair, these ladies at HBS really know what they are talking about! Definitely recommend these beautiful ladies at HBS

Booked an appointment for cut and blow dry via the website. Was called and convinced to change day/time as an initial in person consultation was required first and the time I chose was not suitable? I had explained over the phone I was juggling appointment time around work and young children and what I was hoping for (trim/restyle of short hair). An emerging stylist was not permitted to do this so had to change my appointment to allow a senior stylist to do this. We agreed upon a day/time.Arrived at the appointment a couple of minutes early, was asked to take a seat and complete a questionnaire on a tablet device. Waited around 10 minutes, then was shown around the premises by a staff member and asked if I wanted a drink. Was then shown the consultation table and asked to take a seat again. Sat at this table for another 20 minutes, watching other staff members walking around, sweeping hair, chatting amongst themselves and another client (who arrived just after me) be taken to the hair washing basins. At no point from when I arrived was I advised there would be a delay. It appears normal practice by the business to have clients waiting in limbo. It felt very awkward!Finally a staff member approached me and advised they shouldn't be too much longer (I assumed this was the senior stylist assigned to me). Their previous customer went to make payment, however this also took time. Had my appointment started on time or close to the time allocated, I would have already had my consult, hair washed and halfway through the actual cut itself. I decided leave and explained to the staff at reception I could not wait any longer given I had young children at home and it was getting late into the evening, as it was quite beyond the expected time I had booked. A 'Sorry' was muttered and I was not offered the chance to reschedule .Its a shame given the positive reviews on Google, that this business did not seem to be interested in taking new clients onboard. By far I was not expecting the royal treatment and to be waited on hand and foot, but having to negotiate an appointment for a simple request, then being left to wait half an hour on the day was not a pleasant experience. Let's hope future clients don't go through the same odd process I did!
