Mareena Purslowe Funerals Subiaco

Organised our mum's funeral in June 2018. Professional, patient and empathetic staff committed to a quality memorial. Only disappointment was a 4 rather than a 6 handle coffin as ordered. Apologies accepted on the day but did not look as good and made carrying by the family a little awkward. Otherwise would not hesitate to recommend.

It was the first time I’ve ever had to organise a funeral. My parents weren’t in good health to do so. I didn’t know what to do and was looking for guidance.The first consultant at some point in the meeting said she “wasn’t feeling comfortable”. This left me thinking I wasn’t in good hands. I managed to change consultants and second was much better. Unfortunately the first one really upset me and to this day (funeral was 4.5yrs ago) I still regret going with MP for my sisters funeral. I would think it’s the grieving family that’s feeling uncomfortable, not someone who’s job is to help.EDIT - no thanks. Maybe a new team but still same company. Terrible service.

Funeral service was nice enough. However they hit my car when leaving the property after a consult leaving a big scratch on the back corner. After multiple attempts calling them they told me they would email insurance details but never did. During a stressful time loosing my father at a young age I didn’t have the capacity to hassle them further.

Unprofessional and need to get on board with the estate laws! Will not give the other Executor a copy of funeral invoice! Have been told by Susan Marie Falconer the second Executor not to give it!Yes, after much abuse from Jennifer Saunders we finally were emailed the account which took weeks! Not good enough! We were initially told that even if we sent proof we could not have the account.

I highly recommend Mareena Purslowe, Townshend St, Subiaco to anyone as they handled my Margaret very well. Maree was very understanding, accommodating and compassionate. Excellent service. I thank you.

Cannot rate Mareena Purslowe Funerals highly enough. Beautiful, sensitive, understanding & professional staff, especially one in particular that our family now holds very close to our hearts. Thank you for helping our cherished mum's send off easier than what could have been.
