Our Christmas stay in Dusborough was briefly disappointing when we went out for some Thai Christmas Eve.We were limited to take away and ordered 2 seafood Tom Yum soups and a noodle dish. Cost $42.50!!The soups were a massive let down. For our $14.00 each, there was, one prawn, one mussel, 1 piece of squid and 3 tiny bits of other fish. One wedge of tomato, a tiny bit of greens that I could actually eat and the rest were inedible herbs in a bowl of spicy red water! There was no rice, nor noodles, which, we were told would have been 'extra'.The egg noodle dish was filled with, I'm not sure what, but the noodles were of the 'instant' kind! We know our Asian and know what egg noodles look and taste like!My daughter couldn't eat it and gave it to my husband. He ended up with food poisoning and was sick for two day!!Shame on you ThaiPapaya, you disrespect the reputation of an awesome town! We will be coming back to Dunsborough but will avoid your restaurant at all costs!P.s. We noticed some excellent reviews of your restaurant but I'm sure they're written by locals..maybe you treat tourists differently!

A great quality Thai take away, with fast and friendly service.The menu has all of the usual favorites of which our group tried many dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them.The restaurant is located on the main street and can be busy during peak holiday periods, so recommend ringing to place your order to avoid a wait.

Tried takeaway from here during our stay in Dunsborough.There is very little seating space and is mostly for takeaway.So we ordered our favourite chicken pad thai, stir fry chicken and cashews and coconut rice.Pad thai was not at all upto the mark and maybe one of the bad ones we had in long time. Coconut rice were a little dry but ok. Stir fry chicken was goodPortion sizes were generous and the prices were average ( a little leas than other thai restaurant in the area)Overall our experience was neutral.

Fantastic!! Phoned for take away Christmas Eve, only 10 mins to wait and food fabulous, plenty of it and great value. Even got chopsticks to eat it with. Highly recommended.

$13.90 gets you a Tom Yum soup with no rice or noodles, very little veggies 5 pieces of seafood but plenty of leaves and lemongrass. You know, all the things that you can't actually eat. Maybe the locals get better, but if you are a tourist I would avoid this joint.

Phoned through an order for noodles with basil, chilli and chicken which was ready to pick up in 15 minutes. The generously sized dish came with plenty of chicken and vegetables, and a lovely taste from the green peppercorns. Very enjoyable.

Did not open at 5pm as suggested, called and called and called with no answer for 20 minutes. Went to the restaurant and it’s not open yet? Change your open times if you do not indeed open at 5pm.

Worth every dollar! If we lived local we would eat here far too much!Thai Laksar was so flavourful!Green curry was amazing! Thank you!
