I recently dealt with Sara from Help employment in Nerang. She runs a program called PVAT to assist people with getting a disability pension. I had applied for a disability many times before and been rejected, regardless of my clear physical disabilities. No one wanted to talk to me or meet in person and Being so out of my depth with computers and technology it seemed impossible. I have to say I am thanking my lucky stars that I was assigned to Sara. She took a real interest in making sure I got the disability. It took over a year but I have recently received my first disability payment! I genuinely feel that Sara is to thank for this. I honestly don't think I would have gotten it if it weren't for her. Thank you Sara!

I am happy with all the staff at the Nerang branch especially Melissa whom worked hard to get me my dream job. Everyone has really looked after me while struggling to get work at my age! I enjoy the kind receptionist named Ally whom cops a lot of flack from people but she is a real gem to the office. Lisa is the head manager and has helped me with getting my bike repaired so i can get to job interviews instead of using public transport as i love cycling. Owen helped me to get some clothes for interviews, and Tanya was always willing to help me out on the computer. When i lost my mobile phone they bought me a brand new one so i could apply for jobs online at home. When I go to Centrelink and have lunch with 9 news, I have told them all about HELP and how amazing the service is. I highly recommend this office team as SIMPLY the Best"!"

HELP has turned my son’s life around. He looks forward to going to work each day, enjoys belonging to the team there and he tells me he is always striving to be as efficient and useful as he can because he feels this job is a good place for him to be. He has made friendships and they organise outings outside of work. He has even got back into working out at the gym 4 or 5 times a week with one of his new friends. He who had been shutting himself off from the world is happy, full of energy and proud to be earning his own way. Without the support of Owen and Michael at HELP this could never have happened. They encouraged him, gave him advice on how to approach interviews, patiently opened his eyes to jobs other than IT that would be suitable for him and even organised and covered the cost of the purchase of his steel capped boots and a suitable shirt for his 2-day trial that they had set up for him.And of course none of this could have happened without your assistance, Lisa. Thank you for being ready to speak to me when I saw you in the street. You were getting out of your HELP vehicle and on the spur of the moment, desperate, I approached you for some advice. You went above and beyond the call of duty that day, taking the time to listen to my story on the footpath, giving me some very valuable advice. Being New Zealanders, I believed my son was not entitled to any Centrelink assistance. How grateful I was to learn from you that he could register with Centrelink for 6 months and thereby also receive support from HELP.In essence the 3 of you have hugely contributed to my son getting his life back on track, boosting his self confidence and reviving his thirst for life. I have not seen him so enthusiastic and pleased to be alive since his childhood. Many, many thanks

The people here have boundless amounts of patience (Which you would have to have working there)They understand the amount of stress clients who are 'really' seeking employment and wanting to further/ start their careers. They not only helped myself with the interview but also helped me doing a 'First aid & CPR' course with less than a week's notice!I may not show it but I am great-full for the help and support that Help enterprises (In Nerang) and would recommend any serious" job seeker to go down and visit."

What an amazing team that they have at HELP at Nerang. I moved up to QLD in January from SA and was placed with Nerang Help. My case worker is Melissa Fee and she has be absolutely amazing. The support has been so good and i couldn't have asked for a better case worker. Nothing was ever to much for Mel. She was always at the end of the ph or an email if i needed her. I have now won an amazing job in which i love and i really couldn't have got it with out all her hard work and support. i would recommend HELP Nerang to anyone who was looking for a job provider. Well done to Mel and the amazing Nerang team.
