Cunard have the most appalling difficult website of any company I have ever dealt with. Clearly no one who works there has ever tried the customer experience. You can't even find a simple cruise itinerary. Every link seems to require logging in again. I would never book with them again simply for this reason as the contempt with which they treat this must surely trickle down to the rest of their whole attitude to their clientele. I am computer literate and have never had such problems with any other cruise company's website after booking. It's very difficult to look forward to my upcoming cruise now.

I found the cruise to be a constant disappointment with deck chairs scraping most the day and night above my cabin, forced to share dining tables with complete strangers, annoying clueless passengers, incompetent staff to name just a few things. Trying to get off the ship to visit Port Arthur was the biggest joke with only a few of the many many ships boats transporting passengers to shore. If you were lucky enough ti get one of the very limited booked liberty boats you would still be trying to escape the ship up to 12pm. After that it was take your chances and wait half hour while the incoming passengers boarded the ship through a one way security controlled entry, then the outgoing could get a chance to leave. For many people you may have only got 3-4 hours ashore before needing to return. Very disappointing. The breakfast and lunch menu was extremely boring and repetitive, the worst dried up tasteless scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. The onboard casino is extremely rigged and and I strongly encourage anyone on a carnival cruise ships to avoid at all costs. My roulette history over the last 20 plus times has seen the same tactics employed by myself with the same winning results, however here those same tactics which follow solid statistics are useless. With 17/20 numbers red and other similar variations, out of 25 spins only 3-4 spins were positive. This is totally against the last 20 plus roulette experiences on the main land and statistically is improbable. In addition there is a 10c sliding machine that requires you to win 5 letters spelling BONUS by pushing 10c coins over a ledge and winning letters spelling BONUS, only problem is, out of the 5 play stations there is not 1 S to win making it impossible to win the BONUS. Even after complaining to the staff they still maintained the system was fair. I will never cruise on Carnival line again and did not enjoy my experience. I could not wait to return back to Sydney.

Food was great, lots of activities to do for family and friends. Adults can enjoy without kids at pubs and adult only events. All of the staff are very friendly and work really hard to make your vacation wonderful.

It was a great experience. The crew were amazing. The ship was in great condition and the food was nice. But our room did not have enough electrical outlet. It was not a big issue though. It is recommended just do not forget to link your credit cad to you room card otherwise there is no way to spend money while you are on board.

Great experience if you haven't done a cruise before. Plenty of staff to serve you and always helpful, always with a smile. All the staff in the carnival spirit were great. They're really made all passengers feel very special. I wish rest of Australia could learn a bit more about hospitality from the team onboard the Carnival Spirit.

Affordable prices for cruises. The staff onboard were so friendly and we made friends with them! I love how they have professional photographers when you arrive to capture all the fun moments. There are heaps of activities and events on the cruise where you get to dress up. I love how the food is included and you don't feel guilty for trying everything! The food was tasty and the option to eat at the restaurant and food court is awesome. The pool area is so relaxing where there are bars and food stalls. There is always live music which makes it relaxing and fun. It isn't the fanciest cruise but it is so perfect for a family or friends trip where you want to relax and experience something new in a comfortable and fun environment.

I recently took a cruise with P&O and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The ship was not properly cleaned, as we found dirty dishes left in our room by the previous guests. This is a major concern with COVID-19 protocols in place. In addition, some of the staff provided poor service and there were overcharges for certain items on the ship.To make matters worse, I reached out to P&O's complaints department to address these issues and after sending 8 follow-up emails to get an outcome, they have stopped responding altogether. This lack of accountability and communication from P&O has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied with their service.Overall, I would not recommend P&O for a cruise vacation, as my experience was marred by poor cleanliness, subpar service, and a lack of responsiveness from their complaints team.

Great cruise experience.Love the food and restaurant options.Everyone was always having so much fun and the staff are great to have a chat with also.Security were pretty good at settling down the drunk passenger when we saw someone had a few too many bevy’s.

Our second cruise with Carnival and first on the Carnival Splendor. Not a luxury cruise by any stretch, and not for those looking for a gourmet experience, but brilliant in all other areas. The cabins are generous if garishly decorated (like the rest of the ship), food is plentiful, activities are available wherever you turn, entertainment is brilliant, especially the violinists Sunny Trio, plenty of stuff to keep kids entertained and the whole ship was spotlessly clean. By far the best part though is the crew. Mostly from south-east Asia, the crew spend many months on-board, not seeing family for extended periods, but still manage to make guests feel genuinely welcomed. A big shout out to our Stateroom Attendant on level 1, Franklin, who was both efficient and friendly at all times, our waiter at the Black Pearl dining room, I Putu, who always remembered our names and showed genuine interest during our nightly chats, and the Cruise Director, Savannah, who seemed to be everywhere all the time. Will be sailing again in the future.

My family and I booked the Carnival Splendor cruise from Sydney to Moreton Island. I was particularly interested in seeing the Tangalooma Wrecks on the west coast of this island. This was prominently featured on the advertisement for this cruise, plus Feed wild dolphins"
