Discovery Parks - Mount Isa

We recently stayed here for one night. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Great for a stopover!

Clean and tidy park and friendly staff. Pool was a good place to cool down.

Workforce rooms are okay. Staff are helpful. But you need to be careful of your personal security, the town is rife with crime and Discovery don’t seem to anything about security. The chook fence around the compound is not complete and there are openings everywhere. It was a little better before when they had a security guard on site but no he is gone and the grubs can walk through at anytime of the night or day. The best thing about place is the mess Rob, Izzy and Brian are great food is always great when they are on.

Facilities are clean, park is clean tidy and inviting, ensuit sites are fantastic, highly recommended

Just out of town in the quiet part of Isa. Marion and Monica went above and beyond to help us, and make our stay an enjoyable one. Well done ladies! Even though the park is a little older than some, it is clean, well maintained and is nice and quiet.

Nice caravan park with good clean facilities. Nice helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there and were able to get in with no worries without booking ahead. All good Jim.

Great spot, friendly managers Janelle & Michael, easy quick check in. All facilities are clean & tidy. Close drive to the various touristy things to do.Highly recommended.

Stayed 4 nights with ensuite site to our amazement we were supplied body wash, shampoo and conditioner, floor mat and bath towels. First time in 3 years of traveling. Large double slab site great pool and laundry room, close to town. Front of office staff very helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed three nights. One & a half kms to town. Nice & quiet at the end of a street. Clean amenities with great shower heads & plenty of hot water. Pet friendly. Great laundry plenty of w/machines. No negatives. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights due to a car breakdown requiring towing. Monica was very understanding to our daughter who arranged for us to be towed to site after hours. Les & his wife (sorry forgot your name) were very helpful throughout the whole time while we waited for tow into Townsville. We had to leave the car & van for pick up in a few days time as arrangements had been made for us to fly to Townsville. I cannot thank everyone enough for all of their assistance. The park has many ensuite sites which are extremely clean and supply bath mat & hand towel along with soaps & hair care. Laundry facilities are also good & pool was clean. It is expensive however can be justified with the ensuite provision.
