When coming for legal aid dont be curtius and let women out the lift first as it is vicious race to the front desk .legal aid takes people in the order they are givin out not on who puts their paper work in first. So its not about who lines up first .

They offer free legal advice on Tuesday to the first 10 people. They open at 9am and when I arrived at 7:30am I was the first. Before opening a staff member comes out and hands everyone a number based on time arrived (honesty system). Both times I've been there, the staff have been very helpful and genuine when trying to help. Plenty of seating and the wait times are dependent on how long the person before you takes.

If you can afford it go private. There are a few good solicitors in legal aid but it's pretty much a case of you get what you pay for.
