Simon Anau

My wife and I first saw Simon performing at a cafe in Canberra in early 2018, right at the time that we were discussing wedding singers. We sat soaking up Simon's unique voice and talent. Knowing the type of atmosphere we were looking for I rushed up to Simon and almost begged him to play at our wedding. Simon is and was absolutely outstanding and we consider ourselves incredibly luck to have had such a great musician play at our special wedding. Nothing was ever any trouble for Simon, including learning new songs for us by request, tailoring the melody and flow of his set, working around the venue and guests. Simon is a no stress, but no compromise professional. Since then we have kept in touch with Simon and he has been kind enough to send anniversary songs and more to us (we are now living overseas). More importantly, Simon and his beautiful family are pure, genuine and beautiful people.Always appreciative brother.Jason and Lara

We recently had Simon and his team play at our December wedding at both the ceremony and reception. They are extremely talented, full of energy and Simon listened closely to what we wanted for our wedding day. They played the perfect acoustic songs and playlist to create the laid back long lunch feel that we were after and even pivoted to cater for our unplanned first dance and some of our guests moving to the dance floor! We were so pleased to have our guests also comment on their talent as musicians. Simon was flexible through a postponement and in catering for our song choices. We would absolutely recommend Simon to anyone. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so memorable!

We hired Simon for our wedding and we were so stoked that we did because he was beyond amazing! Simon sung acoustically for the first portion of our day and then himself and DJ Freddie got the party started once the formalities had finished. Everyone had the best time and seriously raved about them. Simon your voice is just beautiful and we absolutely adored our first dance too!

Simon is one of the best live singers and a great musician I've ever heard,with a soulful sound. Bringing you nothing but great music. Would recommend him highly to anyone needing live music or weddings,birthdays etc.

Music is such a big part of your big day - it sets the atmosphere, creates the energy and becomes the soundtrack to lifelong memories. Simon performed at our wedding and made it the most perfect day for us! He was also a huge help in the lead up to the wedding, providing us with suggestions and guiding us wedding newbies through every step. Plus, he’s an amazing guy. I can’t recommend Simon highly enough!
