Max was recommended to us by people who knew of him as a great lawyer and they were not wrong, he is well experienced, smart, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour and his closing arguments are top notch.Unfortunately my husband was charged by police when 2 women gave false accusations of historical sex claims, from when they were all children, including my husband.He was cleared by the jury of all charges.Max knows his job, he my seem a little distracted when you first meet him and wonder why is he asking all these questions of which you will probably feel are pointless, they are not, he will give you homework which you need to do, but TRUST him he has his techniques and they work.We can also recommend Shirley Cassey who was our 1st contact, she is also the calm within the storm.

Max is a highly experienced and intelligent solicitor. This was clearly evident when he helped me through a difficult time. I met Max Crispe in Court and asked him if he would represent me based on how I saw him perform in Court.I was pleased that he agreed to represent me and from the beginning to now, about 12 months later, he has been:1 -Very knowledgable, experienced & professional Soliciter & Barrister and could easily command higher fee's2 - Straight down the line with fees, his views on the case, his expectations of his clients.3 - Sometimes you may not like what he says but you better learn to like it as he knows what he is talking about!4 - I have been the target of WA POL with numerous charges to date and he has won them all (3 so far) with the courts awarding costs against the WA POL on 2 occasions where significant costs were sought (and granted) and in the third we chose not to seek cost’s (relatively small amount) as a strategic measure and a decision that i was happy with.5 - Max and his small team are knowledge, intelligent, hardworking and as a client you need to tell them what they need to know to be able to properly represent you, including full disclosure of anything that could compromise your case etc!6 - As a client you need to understand that you need to play YOUR PART in preparing your defence and evidence in defence as ONLY YOU know what happened and why!
