Becareful of this company they are hired by insurance companies to write reports in their favours. My experience with Darren Sandy was traumatic. His mother should be ashamed of herself for raising such a naughty boy.

I was seriously injured in work place accident due to deliberate negligence work place act. Star was appointed by employer at the time without my permission.I recommend anyone with this company managing their case to go find another company manage there case as I’ve changed to another injury management company and they have done what star failed to do.They (star) are insurance and employer company biased only pretend be interested in helping injuried person. They won’t fight get treatment you need and will go behind your back at any chance keep employer happy and I won’t do there job . In my case as example star would not to work place evaluation after accident keep employer happy and were caught out by my lawyer going behind my back saying I was causing problems. I also made phone calls as needed help sorting out unfair treatment my employer put on me just came up with every excuse under the sun not do anything in keeping my employer happy.Avoid this company as they have poor values for injuried person I wouldn’t like see anyone eles put through total lack professionalism by this company.

Star were great, they helped coordinate all the parties involved. They helped make things less confusing and the support I received was invaluable. I would recommend them.

I can't speak on the company as a whole but just don't get involved with Darren Sandy. He is an occupational therapist but is a very deceitful human being. He will harass you and try to intimidate you.

AVOID!!!In short (& IMO), this company is an investigator contracted by insurance companies and who masquerade as a 'rehabilitation management' firm, falsely interested in injured workers and their rehab support.(Remember injured workers in WA have the right to chose their own rehabilitation consultancy. You don't have to use the preferred one arranged by the insurer.)My consultant continuously wanted me to reconfirm details of my injury multiple times throughout the interview, refraining questions and querying my responses. Even though she had briefed herself on my injury and read all documents supplied that clearly contained all the facts. How can this be associated with support, more akin to interrogation. The consultant (who is neither a doctor nor registered nurse) even wanted to attend my next doctors appointment. Also advising me to ask my doctor for other treatments - and without knowing my full medical history.Incidently and during the interview I flippantly mentioned my retirement, to which she insisted on knowing when this would occur.Lastly, the privacy form they want you to sign is worded so vaguely that if signed, gives them open warrant for all your private details and medical history. My suggestion (as I did) is to shread this nasty intrusive document and ultimately choose your own rehab provider.(NB; my back injury is minor = just 24 work hours lost and a few doctor visits & nothing severe).I suppose you can't expect non prejudicial behaviour when they are paid and contracted directly by insurance companies who give them a financial budget to work with. Noteworthy, that every industry I've been associated with that have budgets receives some sort of financial reward if these are adherred to or improved upon.
