They don’t know how to handle customers. They don’t even bother to offer water and tissues and have worst customer service ever! They will say you cheap price and charge you way more than that. Never get your food from here as the food is far from par and the chefs only know how to add chilli and make is spicy as!Would have given 0 stars if there was a option to do it. Don’t recommend to anyone to eat over here.

Excellent, unlike the other Indian restaurant in the area, I think the chefs have actually been to India. Chicken tikka from a real tandoor great naan bread and authentic curries, one of the culinary highlights of or Hobart trip.

Got some takeaway while visiting beautiful Hobart. The best butter chicken I have had in ages and a recommended vegetarian paneer curry that was super tasty (I got it with a bit of spice). I would be a regular if only I lived a bit closer. Highly recommend!

After reading couple of good reviews and above average rating, I was excited to visit this place.I ordered Onion pakora, Chicken Butter Masala and Cheese Butter Masala (it has paneer in it), cheese naan, roti and laccha paratha.Onion pakora was served with lettuce and a mint chutney (Unfortunately I was very hungry and I couldn’t capture a pic of it). Onion pakoras were good and fresh, roughly 6 small pieces (not a generous quantity).Butter Chicken was very sweet (some might not enjoy it very sweet) & chicken pieces were very tender and well done.Cheese Butter Masala was well done and it wasn’t over spicy. I liked it most.They do serve complimentary sliced onions. The service is quick and staff is friendly.

Really good saucy Indian food ... been here before and will visit again. The roaring fire is especially appreciated on a damp & chilly night.This place does curries exactly how I like them, thick, rich, with perfect rice and a good amount of spice. Keep up the great work Magic Curries !

Small cozy restaurant servicing great Indian food and wines. The service was friendly and efficient. A must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts!Spice level: MILD TO MEDIUM1. Malai Kofta: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- this is the best Malai kofta I had in Hobart, not too spicy nor too sweet just perfect. The creamy and rich flavoured curry was irresistible.2. Garlic Naan: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- The naan bread was perfectly fluffy, and bursting with garlicy flavour.3. Dal Makhni: RECOMMENDED- The taste was good, like home made. However, I personally prefer a thick consistency when having the dal outside.4. Pista Kulfi: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- They offered a complimentary desert – Thank you guysIt was rich and satisfying treat. It was dense, creamy, and velvety, providing a rich and indulgent experience with every bite.

This place was absolutely horrible last night. Went for birthday dinner and left with disappointment. Firstly, The lady who served us treated us insanely bad.secondly ,Food was below average except curry. It’s our 4th visit and had never encountered this lady before and now it’s our last . We’ll definitely warn my friends and family from going here. I request the owners to be respectful towards your community people too. Lastly, please remember to smile to customer , it won’t cost much. Would give 0 out of 5 for poor hospitality.

There were six of us and we enjoyed a hearty meal here. We chose a range of dishes, at different levels of spiciness. The classic palak paneer did not disappoint, and the chicken tikka was so popular that we ordered another portion. The beef korma was very mild and the lamb curry was delightfully spicy. The garden salad was fresh and complemented the many flavourful dishes we ate. We can debate if the food was authentic or not, but they all were delicious.
