We stopped here to wander around the walking tracks a bit and enjoyed the views of the area. The gift shop is also well stocked with a variety of items you can purchase.

I visited Freycinet National Park and stopped by the Visitor Centre hundreds of times, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The staff there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they provided me with all the information I needed to make the most of my visit to the park. The Centre itself is also very well-maintained and has a range of interesting displays and exhibits that showcase the natural beauty of the area. I particularly enjoyed learning about the various animals and plant species that call the park home. What really stood out to me, though, was the level of service provided by the staff. They were happy to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience in the park. I even received some great recommendations on the best hikes to take and the best spots to see the stunning views that the park is known for.Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre. The park itself is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tasmania and with good reason. But the Visitor Centre really added to my experience and made my visit all the more enjoyable. The staff there is a credit to the park and truly goes above and beyond to make sure that visitors have a great time.

Great place to visit and climb the 400 steps to Wine Glass Bay lookout, then 1000 steps down to the white sands of the bay.

One of the best places to do a hike in mostly flat ground. We did the 11km hike and took us around 4 hrs but was well worth it. The hike provides great views of Wineglass bay and two other beaches as part of the circuit.

It was worth visiting but the views are obscured by the clouds during my visit. I climbed mt. Amos, and visibility was poor. Didnt even saw the beautiful scenery up there, just a small glimpse of wine glass bay. Not worth the climb if cloudy. Make sure when you climb, it is sunny and no precipitation before the climb, because it really does get slippery. The climb is very difficult so make sure you are prepared physically for it. Do not bring heavy bags during the climb. Just water and a cellphone or camera to take photos.

Didn't actually go to visitor centre. Did the walk to Wingeglass Bay lookout. This is a steep 3km walk to the lookout. Certainly gets the heart pumping but the view at the end makes it worthwhile
