Great selection of both fresh and cured meats as well as cheese and pasta (both fresh and imported) plus a small grocery section with a few surprises.

The porchetta panini we had was delicious. Really authentic with broccoli rabe (which we have found hard to find elsewhere in Australia).

Called a week ahead to purchase a fresh whole turkey in November. Arrived to pick it up (after I was told I could arrive at any time because it would be ready) at 10am. They pulled out two 12kg fresh turkeys - which as it turned out weren’t for me (as I’d ordered a 5kg bird). Told me my turkey hadn’t arrived so I drove back home and returned a few hours later (about 2 hours of driving total for me). Was given a frozen whole turkey at $15kg. Couldn’t eat the turkey the next day given how big it was it didn’t defrost in time, so went to local butcher to feed my dinner guests a few chickens. The turkey I was given was Ingham’s brand - which is at Woolworths for $7 a kg. Absolutely no apologies from the team at Marino and they were incredibly rude over the phone. Apparently they can’t control what their meat providers send, which doesn’t seem like my problem. $75 in the hole and didn’t even get to eat the thing when I was meant to.

I've not tried their cannenoli but thought the porchetta was quite yummy and filling. The serving sizes were decent. The salad especially the lettuce wasn't the best though. There was a hard and inedible bit. Yours truly @fooderarri

Recently went to Marino Meats in and the Central Market. Service was excellent and a really great atmosphere amongst staff and customers.I was planning on hosting a small dinner party and the staff were able to recommend me their small-goods that are made in store. The salamis and mortadella were both amazing in flavour and didn’t disappoint.I also saw they made all their pasta and gnocchi in store and the gnocchi was to die for. Absolutely amazing and will definitely be coming back for all my meat, small-good and pasta needs! Thankyou Marino!
