I had ordered an engagement ring through Australis Jewels. Wayne helped me put the idea in my head, into reality. I was able to customize just about every part of this ring, from what Ct of gold to where I got the diamonds from. I wanted Canadian diamonds as my partner is Canadian and getting them imported was no issue. Wayne was always eager to help.The level of professionalism and desire to make dreams into a reality was really refreshing. At Australis Jewels- you get what you pay for.She said yes by the way.

Wayne was great to work with. Firstly he was able to help me further develop some ideas for a great pendant by asking a series of questions. Then he developed some concept pictures of the pendant based on these ideas and using a saphire I had sourced from intrinsic gems based in Cairns. Once I'd decided on the final design, Wayne did a brilliant job in making the pendant and setting the saphire. There is a fair bit involved in doing that and as it was a Christmas gift, time was critical. He successfully completed the project ahead of schedule at a very busy time of year. Having jewelery made in this way rather than just buying a piece off the shelf is extremely satisfying, it comes from the heart, is unique and is of extremely high quality. While it can be daunting, Wayne is the perfect person to help. My partner absolutely loves her saphire pendant, so do I, and I'll be back getting Wayne to help with the matching earrings.

A walk down memory lane gives pleasure about our most enjoyable periods of life. So when one reflects on the memorable aspects of our past, we are also constantly searching for ways to resurrect these great moments. A broken gold chain and a few colourful sapphires that never found their way into a jewellery piece, found a place in one's pocket at the local Gem show, in the hope of resurrecting these colourful items.Both items had sentimental value and were quickly joined by other significant unused precious pieces of similar historical value for inclusion into one single piece. Our goal was to represent both past and present with a futuristic feel. The new piece must be functional in design whilst showcasing all elements of both diamonds and sapphires in a gold setting.Luck was on our side when we were introduced to Wayne of Australis Jewels. A diamond ring with satellite sapphires emerged from our initial home meeting with Wayne. Recently, my wife had a gemstone replaced on her engagement ring. In using my mothers engagement ring, Wayne was able to undertake an exquisite transformation into a like-new piece while maintaining and protecting the sentimental value of the preexisting item.
