I booked a property through airbnb and initially was happy with the level of service given by Amelia as she found us another property accomodating pets & even left a platter in the fridge & the fire going. Upon leaving I received the most shocked review stating that the house was not left as I found it! And that the cleaners were very disappointed as they take great pride in our properties. The comment of not picking up after ourselves what do you mean? We vacuumed, we swept the floor, we emptied bins, left dirty towels in the dirty clothes bin & the dish washer was filled. Other than washing the bed linen and cleaning the showers I really don't know what was expected. Don't we pay cleaners to do that? So please if you are going to give an unfair review of my airbnb profile where every other one is perfect you should state what is expected upon leaving. I have to say it put a really big downer on our stay, I have been visiting Mallacoota for 50 years and love the place. The beautiful town needs the tourist dollar but with this kind of treatment people will look elsewhere.

So impressed with our place, its the little touches that count for us. Silky soft sheets, beautiful towels, the list goes on. Lovely host and always in communication. Definently staying here again, thank you
