Matt has been cutting my hair for many years and I could not recommend him more. He is professional, delicate, excellent in his skills and reasonable priced. Best hair cuts and consistently high standards every time. To me, definitely the best barber in town!

Matt and Angela are some of the best barbers and stylists in Melbourne - so thrilled that they’ve started their own business, as they were so popular and sought after at Urban Man. Always a perfect cut and wonderful customer experience. Have been a client of Matt’s for 5 years now and since living interstate the last two years, I always make it a priority to get my hair cut with him when I’m in Melbourne. This has to be the best barbershop in Melbourne, I have tried multiple barbershop, I always end up disappointed. The only place I went that was good was Franky salon, but they charge $90 for a haircut, is way out of my budget as I need to cut it at least once a month, paying more for haircut than property tax is not something I enjoy. Finally I tried captain barbershop because of the reviews and man! He did not disappoint! My partner told me it was the best haircut I ever got, better than in frank salon and for less than half the price! My only concern is that if the word spreads too much, is gonna be hard to get a booking with matt!

Best barbers in town. Matt has been cutting my hair for almost a decade, so I absolutely had to follow him here. Highly recommended, excellent cuts - including best fade in town as well as great beard maintenance, the pricing is extremely reasonable as well. Nice and neat shop and excellent people. Thanks.
