Convent Bakery
Had a super fun day at Convent Bakery School. It was such an enjoyable bread making experience. Convent bakery hold beginner friendly artisan bread-making classes on Sundays and they talk you through the whole bread baking process, explaining each step along the way. For $220 pp you experience a full day workshop 8am-2pm making different types of bread and you’ll be able to enjoy your baked treats.The Workshop i attended included:Welcome cup of organic coffee or teaConvent Bakery embroidered apronWoodfired scones for morning tea, which you make, eat and take homeLunch time walk around historic Convent buildings, grounds and artist studiosCalzone for lunch, which you make, eat and take homeBasic authentic sourdough bread techniques, which you will use on the day to mix and bake your own white sourdough and white plaited bread to take home1 kilo of organic flour to take homeDefinitely recommend attending their bakery school.

This bakery has an abundance of sweet and savoury baked goods displayed in the window. Everything is made in-house and tastes very fresh. They also have brunch menu with your typical egg dishes.My favourite sweets were the fruit bun and raspberry and white chocolate muffin. The pastries were so good including the beef pie and sausage roll. Their coffee is also very smooth and delicious.

Waited for ages for the meal which turned up cold. Ate on a dirty table . Our daughter got her meal 40 minutes before anyone else. We ended up not eating together as meals turned up at different times. Only good thing is that it's a pretty place to eat.

This is my regular breakfast spot. I adore the area and the quality of the breakfast is second to none.We ordered eggs Benny with salmon. Came out in good time & tasted very fresh. They do a lot of baking on-site, you can taste the difference.Great coffee too

Wow what a selection!!Amazing place to visit, good outdoor seating in a serene surrounding.Great coffee, the free range eggs were awesome.I cant wait to come back and try the pastries, sandwiches and much more!Quick efficient service.Restrooms at the convent.Give it a shot!Enjoy:)

Love this brunch place conveniently located within Abbotsford convent. The highlight was the croissant, so flaky and surprisingly light and of course can’t go wrong with the Big brekkie.What we ordered:- The big convent w poached egg- Chilli scrambled egg- Strawberry croissant- Passionfruit tart- Dalgona latte- Green smoothieThere’s also Farmers market on Saturday morning. Definitely a hidden gem!
