Blandest burrito I have ever had, no flavour, 2 huge chunks of fatty beef mixed in copious amounts of rice and beans with absolutely no flavour the 2 stars are for the chilli sauce I was given to make it edible.

This restaurant has had me having toilet issues since last Friday. I ordered a Cali burrito with chicken, my friend heard the workers say they don’t have chicken, still got chicken but must have been old because I’ve been sick since. Never had an issue like with with gyg it’s really disappointing :((

waited 12 minutes for a side of chicken and medium fries. asked to see how much longer it would be to receive my order, staff were polite said they were waiting on fries which would have been reasonable except i saw fries in the warmer the whole time. meanwhile my chicken was sitting on the counter so by the time i got it, it has cooled. $5 for a side of chicken and it was not even filled to top of container. as a former gyg worker, i know the standards of gyg and this was poor performance.

I regularly order the burrito with spicy chicken and guacamole inside. Maybe new staff being trained, but today was my tasteless burrito ever. A big lump of plain rice in a corner, not tight enough, not the quality I normally get.Edited 2 days later: I returned and reordered my favourite on Saturday, Jayden you turned your detractor into a happy customer again. Much better despite it was a busy day in the shopping center

I normally love GYG but had such a bad experience in the Robina drive thru. The guy who took my order thought I wanted $3 tacos even though I kept saying soft taco. That was later fixed when the next person confirmed my order when I had to pay. No biggie. Then I left the store and noticed there was no habanero sauce as ordered. Went back and got that. Then I took one taste of the fries and it was disgusting. It was coated in what tasted and smelled like cinnamon and sugar (nothing wrong with that if it was on churros). Definitely was not their usual seasoning on the fries as I have had GYG fries many times. The soft tacos were inconsistent, with some having excessive mince filling, while others barely having any filling whatsoever.

Terrible food. Ordered Cali chicken burrito - was served ice cold and the chips tasted like they were 2 days old.Have eaten at plenty of Guzman Y Gomez restaurants before, never been this bad!

Had the three tacos, the worst I’ve ever had. They got rid of the corn tortillas. Flavourless horrible mess compared to what I was used to. The total opposite of Mexican food. I think this is good bye for me.
