Refreshing to have the experience of real advice during this journey. For my professional career used various lawyers for advice and believe I received value for money. Especially not needing to use any 3rd party and believe it was fair and reasonable to everyone.

Imagine waking up one day to find out the marriage you had cherished for years wasn’t what it seemed to be - and without going into too much detail there are really only two options.1) Stay in a broken marriage that would never be the same.2) Go down the path of separation and divorce and with that brings many questions… Where do you go? Who do you trust? And who can help?I chose the latter and I was a one of the lucky ones – I contacted Tony Phillips from Philips Family Law. As my world was falling down around me I heard the calm voice of Tony Phillips at the end of the phone say “I’m so sorry for your circumstances but I’m here to help” From that moment on I knew whatever happened I would be Ok…..and a lot happened!!! From navigating the custody and needs of 5 young children to going to trial to sort out the myriad of financial games that were being played. From non-disclosure to forensic accountants I felt I would eventually go to trial and along the way the team at Phillips Family Law (especially Sophie Norman and Olivia Phillips) ALWAYS had my best interest at heart (even when I was being highly emotional and the process seemed all encompassing and overwhelming). Their tenacity, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and understanding of the circumstances were beyond anything I had ever seen before.But it was so much more than legal advice – It was pointing me in the right direction when I asked “I need to change my will, who should I call?’, “I need help with financial understanding, where should I go?, “ The children need a psychologist – who is the best to help me there?”, “I need a barrister ‘ who do you recommend?” .The team at PFL walked me through the entire process with professional advice and a caring concern that made the journey of separation not a lonely one.4 years, 2 mediations and a trial later I am beyond happy with my result – it wasn’t only the financial outcome – it was looking back and knowing that I stood up for myself and had a team who believed in me, understood the process and who wanted what was best for myself and my children.If you do need a family lawyer, I would highly recommend Tony Phillips and his team at Phillips Family Law – they are simply the best at what they do.
