Good food and coffee. Tried the Shakshuka and french toast and they were pretty good. Service took a while but was ok with us as we were not in a hurry. The rates showing on the google menu needs an update. Eggs benny is ~$25 ( google menu shows 16.5)

Nice meeting spot. Enjoyed the French toast! Serving size was just enough for a light meal.Edited after owners reply… Only fruit are berries and strawberries on this slab of bread lol

Friendly service, yummy coffee, delicious egg and bacon muffins! Thank you for being open for takeaway over the long weekend - we will be back for a sit down meal when we can :)

I go here occasionally for a coffee or a tasty treat. The back-story of the owners growing up locally and having historic connection to the place is a lovely sentiment. The breakfast burger is genuinely the best breakfast burger I've ever had! Coffee is alright but isn't stand-out.

Battle is a cozy cafe with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff and charming decor create a comfortable ambiance perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. The menu is diverse and the food is delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. The coffee is also excellent. Highly recommended for a great cafe experience in Blackburn.

We came here on a whim after reading some of the hilarious replies to silly customer reviews and it did not disappoint. It was during Easter so they weren't open for dine in but the Bacon and Egg Muffin was literally the best I've ever eaten in my life. Wasn't planning on writing a review but recently went to another cafe where they charged me $1 for alternative milk. I just want to say, bless you Battle for being the only cafe I've ever been to who doesn't charge extra for milk. I appreciate you guys trying to normalise alternative milk. Please don't ever change. I will be back for more. Coffee was great too! Sunnyboy forever!

The service was super friendly, and the food and coffee were yummy. The chilli scrambled egg was really really tasty. Would definitely recommend that. We cycled here and it's a great place to do a pitstop. Will be back for sure.

Not sure how they’ve got 4.8 stars, must be friends and fake reviews unfortunately.Coffee was okay but food was not.Quite dry and bland, also very slow.The reviews are why we came but now we feel quite mislead.EDIT: Changed it to one star due the disgraceful attitude from the ‘owner’.Actually we had an eggs Benny and a breakfast burger but thank you for your naive assumptions.Take some constructive criticism and work on trying to improve your business instead of abusing customers with your petty responses.I’ve worked in hospitality for 15+ years and was also a barista for 10 and competed in competitions but okay sunshine I don’t know anything.Didn’t have a baby chino so not sure where you pulled that from and I said the coffee was okay - definitely not competition worthy though.Mate you are the one drinking paint thinking this is an acceptable way to handle some criticism.Definitely reviewed the correct venue.

great little cafe with best coffee. We drive all the way there, just for the coffee. Staff are friendly and the food is good too. The guys mushrooms are the best!I had smashed avo with feta and egg, yummydef. recommend
