Good Dog Training Tips

Thank you so much for your help with our anxious, rescue pup! We noticed a big difference in her confidence after just one session!

Great training with our rescue jack russell terrier cross dog, Poppy. Alessina is always patient. Simone and I as dog owners needed more training than Poppy!

I like Alessina's approach to dog training. A lot of thing makes sense and no one size fits all. My puppy, Bastien, slept through the whole class but we were trained to understand him a bit more and hope we can be good leaders for him. I am yet to read the notes that she has given me in more details; hopefully, Bastien will continue to be a good happy dog.

Training session with Alessina was full of useful information, and fun! Raffie has made good progress after only two sessions. Alessina has a natural affinity with dogs. She not only trains your dog, but equally important, she trains you. Raffie seemed to enjoy his time with Alessina, and it seems he's learning how to be a good dog through play.

Working with Alessina was an absolute pleasure. Our dog griffin has some naughty habits and within one session he was much better and now he is so rewarding to have as our family dog. Alessina was very understanding and non-judgemental of our issues which made it all the more easy to address our concerns with Griffin.

My partner and I rescued a big Bull Arab x Great Dane almost 3 months ago. It quickly proved to be very challenging as our dog was nipping on us hard when excited or during play, jumping on us, and getting very reactive/anxious during our walks. The emotional toll was off the roof!We reached out to Alessina within a week of adopting him and arranged a Zoom session followed by some email exchanges... And her help to get us started on the right foot was just priceless!!! Within a day (literally!), we saw the changes and managed to get back in control of the situation. Being able to get back into a calm and positive mindset saved it all.She also gave us precious advice about the importance of taking the time to bond with him first before taking him out to the outside world. In retrospect and looking back on it all, it makes so much sense and I believe it is impacting our training now in such positive ways.We are looking forward to seeing how much better Diego can get in the next few months :) Thanks for everything Alessina!

Hey AlessinaI just want to thank you for your fabulous work helping us to train Retta. You bring a calmness into our house that spreads to us all, humans and dog. You treat Retta as an individual and have an excellent intuition for what will work with our young kelpie cross. It is wonderful to be able to have relaxed walks with our dog. Alessina has made a big difference in our family- training us and our cavoodle Lottie! From an incredibly helpful phone call when Lottie was 10 weeks old, to our first training session at 14 weeks and then again at 7 months, Alessina continues to provide support, advice and games to help us attune with (and enjoy) our pup. We loved working with Alessina! She had a fantastic ability to read our dog Rosie's behaviour and give us the tools and advice to feel confident in training her. We are extremely thankful for Alessina and everything she has done to help us with our puppy Daisy.She goes above and beyond to teach you what your dog is thinking and how they're feeling and what actions we need to use to counteract that.Alessina is very patient with puppies/dogs and is very thorough in training them. We can't recommend her enough.Don't even bother with Puppy school. If you want your dog to be trained, get Alessina to do it!
