BIG4 Howard Springs Holiday Park

Stayed for 4 nights on powered site. The sites were quite big & when I checked in the reception staff put me in a spot away from other vans which I really liked & all the vans were dotted around the big park as it's quiet at this time of year. Beautiful gardens/grounds and 2 beautiful pools, one perfect for families. I'd stay here again.

Some positives, nice camp kitchen, food vans and live music, closeness to Darwin, pool area was lovely. Some negatives, lack of maintenance in the park, especially the amenities which were not always clean, regardless of time of day. Some showers and toilets were not able to be locked. Shower heads missing. Power outages at the hottest part of the day. All in all a little disappointed in a Big 4 park.

Nicely maintained pool and grounds. 1km walk to the Howard Springs tavern is good. The only bad thing we experienced was no hot water but given the humidity it wasn't that unpleasant hence why we didn't report it. The ensuite facilities were clean and well maintained

We absolutely love this park, so close to town and yet so convenient. The one issue we’re the three little birds that kept everyone awake every night. Move them on and it would be faultless.

I very rarely complain about parks but as I have stayed here before and was happy we went again. Dogs not being kept quiet was the main complaint,little happy things that bark at every other dog never being chastised and being left out overnight. The answer to my complaint was do you want to move sites. Plenty of sites that the problem people could have been sent to not the people who are doing the right thing. Another 2 couples around us were extremely unhappy also. Another problem was the disabled toilet that was being used by others including me as a quick in out was noticeably getting very unclean with sanitary items etc in bin. This hadn’t been cleaned for a few days. When I noticed that the cleaner was in the main stream bathroom I got my husband to go and ask about it. Apparently he was unaware that there was a disabled bathroom,how does that happen

Lovely park, very friendly team working there. Colin definitely made our stay. His smiling face and genuine friendlyness was what we really needed. Awesome pools, something to fit all ages. Will definitely highly recommend to anyone. Good caravan sites and cabin very clean & comfortable.

I'm really impressed with this Big4. Lovely big site, amenities are fantastic, staff lovely. Great location. Do recommend. Probably more than we like to spend, but I guess you get that in a big city.

Stayed whilst visiting with family in Darwin. 2 brm cabin was clean, comfortable and had plenty of AC to keep us cool!! We got great use out of the pools and loved the peacocks wandering through the lush grounds. Will happily stay again

We've just spent 3 weeks here and absolutely loved our stay. Great location outside of town, felt very safe, but also easy access to shops and attractions. The sites are lovely and big, the amenities are nice and clean and the pool is really lovely, we spent everyday in there. The staff are wonderful, very accommodating with requests and do an amazing job around the park.
