I booked in due to seeing a special on FB that advertised a full head of foils for $110 + 10% off if booked within a specific time frame, which I did. However, I ended up being charged $155 as they didn't apply the 10% offer and charged me for Olaplex which they said I needed for blonde foils, even though I have never had it before.My appointment was for 5:30pm but they were busy until after 6pm, so I was waiting a while. They did say they were running late but said it wouldn't be too long, which was false.The foils were then put on and left on for over 2 hours, which felt like a long time.I am a natural blonde and just wanted to get it a bit lighter.My colour, as seen in the picture, is uneven and goes from a purple tone to a silver/ice colour down to a yellow blonde.Overall, the employees were friendly enough but the place lacks professionalism and I feel that the standards are not what I expected.For what I ended up having to pay, I am not happy with the service or how my hair looks and will not be returning or recommending this place.

I walked out a very happy lady. Love my foils and the styling. Tracy made me feel very confident and relaxed having just moved to the area and having to find a new salon and now I have. Sheanna's shampooing and head massage is outstanding and totally relaxing. Very impressed and will def call this my new salon. Thanks Girls.Pauline

First time at La Paloma, on arrival Tracy was very friendly and welcoming too the salon, I met with Paige who focused on my blonde hair, I had terrible experiences at other salons on the coast this past year, I had expressed this to Tracey and Paige who reassured me that I was in good hands, the salon was very busy but both Paige and Tracy respected their customers and made sure they were ok, know personally how much difficulty blonde can be I understood that my hair would have a blue\purple tone to it once toned an dry. Paige was able to make my hair feel like a million bucks,I have rebooked for 4 weeks and will continue to make appointments with Paige and Tracy and recommend to all, thank you so much ladiesLisa (leesa Michelle)

I went to this salon because they offered hair perms (which some salons don't do anymore) and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. It was a comfortable and happy atmosphere. I was very happy with my perm and the salon kept a record of what rollers they used as it was my first time there. Great value for money too....5 star service x

I came in a few weeks ago for a full head of foils (light blond). I left the service with orange, blond and grey. It was rushed and I am very disappointed with the end result, Tracey had a series of personal commitments and a holiday which meant I had only one opportunity for an appointment to fix it, this was middle of the day mid week and I work so it was impossible to make it. When calling her to make another appointment I was told it’s been 5 weeks and we aren’t touching the regrowth!!!!!Wow didn’t ask that just want my hair to not look like I work in a circus!

5 weeks ago Tracey did horrendously uneven foils on my daughters hair leaving her half orange, half blond and half grey!!!!! When I rang to discuss I had to hang up as Tracey wouldn’t let me say a word! Horrible customer service, they gave her one opportunity to have it fixed and because she couldn’t make the wed 11am appointment due to work it’s now her fault...

Highly recommend, staff are always friendly and attentive. Wonderful service, one of the best hair salons on the coast.

Lauren was nothing less than amazing. She was warm, friendly, and above all, did an incredible job on my brows. I will be back, purely for her.The premise itself needs alot of work done to it for basic maintenance.Lauren gets a full 5 star, other factors get a lot less.
