River front area is great with lot of options for cycling, e-Scooters, walking across the bridge, ferry station etc. Lot of areas for family picnics or just walk around the river basin. Great views. Night time ride experience is great and recommended.

I recently visited South bank and had the opportunity to ride the wheel of Brisbane . I was pleasantly surprised by the experience! The ferris wheel was large and well-maintained, with a modern, sleek look. The ride itself was smooth and relaxing, providing a great view of the park from the top. The attendant was friendly and helpful, and the wait time was minimal.Overall, I had a great experience riding the ferris wheel and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Similar to the opening of the wheel at Marina Bay, Singapore this wheel was also erected the same year of 2008.Wheels come in various sizes and can be found at many locations, including traveling carnivals, amusement parks, and tourist destinations. The enormous rides, which include enclosed cabins and rotate slowly, are now generally referred to as observation wheels

Went during the night. View was pretty decent with the river and night lights. Didn’t enjoy as much as I thought I would. Goes about 4-5 turns per ride. Air condition was good. Had to wait about 5 mins in the queue. For adults it was 21$, and for students 19$. Kids under 5 as I recall can go for free.

An iconic attraction in Brisbane, and some pleasant views of the river and Brisbane skyline from the wheel. The queues were relatively short at our time of visiting, and we had an entire cabin to ourselves. We circulated about 5 times and were on the wheel for about 10 minutes or so. Staff were helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. The optional photos are quite expensive ($28).

It is suitable for the afternoon trip, it will be hot in the morning or at noon. There are many areas where you can relax, including the famous man-made beach, which is very suitable for family and friends.

It's a 12 minute ride, about 4-5 times around. Beautiful, for sure. Air conditioned, music, comfortable ride. A little more expensive than what I thought for 12 minutes. The photos are $28/ piece, which I thought was ridiculous.Warning, the espresso at the Cafe is terrible.
