Black pepper crab was not bad. Flavours were there, crab was meaty. Too saucy to be authentic. Sambal Kankong is pretty nice. Sambal sauce is a little on the sweet side.

Service was good. The restaurant is clean. The bak kut teh I ordered was average. The pork was definitely overcooked. Also the price point is a bit expensive compared to the restaurants nearby.

We had good service and delicious freshly cooked food. We really liked the 'Char Kway Teow'. Might try other dishes next time.

I haven't been to the restaurant yet. I went to the Alien night markets at area 51 underwood (the old bunnings car Kingston and Logan roads) and this is where I found Mulanhua. I had the char kwey tao, absolutely delicious and when we went back and told them just how delicious it was, they gave us menus for their actual restaurant. Really looking forward to going and trying more of their delicious food. So check out their restaurant or catch them at the markets.

I really wanted this to be a great experience, but it fell way short. All started well with being greeted by staff and allocated a table. It took a little while to attract the attention of staff and place our order - but still pretty good. The first dish came out. Beef Randang. Unfortunately we had not been given anything to eat it with, so it sat for quite some time before we were able to attract a staff member to provide some for us. She was very apologetic when she provided these things for us, so again, not too bad really. The Randang wasn't bad at all. There was a bit of a wait for our second dish, Kway Teow. It to was a reasonable dish. Our final dish, chicken curry, I believe was forgotten. It took us a very long time to draw the attention of a staff member and we finally received this last dish. (no apology for the extended wait)The dish had part of one drumstick and about four pieces of potato. Flavor again wasn't too bad - but in the big scheme of things, this dish lacked more than it gave.Sorry Mulanhua, you haven't impressed, and I hope the situation we faced is not the norm.

this used to be a favourite place for us but unfortunately, tonight's meal was an absolute let down.our meals were all tasteless, we could barely finish the food. on top of that, there's been a price increase of around 20% per dish.

the food was okay - rendang was probably the best out of the dishes we got. service was terrible, our food arrived at different times, they forgot one of our dishes, we hailed multiple waiters down literally get some cutlery and it took atleast 10 min for one of them to come back, the girl who did was very kind and apologetic about it. we also asked about one of our dishes since it hadn't arrived after half an hour maybe even 40 min and the staff didn't even apologise or acknowledge what we said, she just walked away. food is doable, service is awful. wouldn't recommend

Very disappointing. Claiming to be Singapore hawker restaurant, the staff didn’t even know what “sambal” is. Coming from Malaysia and having worked in Singapore, I am stumped that the staff don’t know what “sambal” is and on the menu on the wall, it “Samba”… I didn’t know they specialisedOrdered the Char Hokkien Noodles, Mee Goreng and fried Wantons.Hokkien noodles was lacklustre and looked really “blond”. Where I come from, the sauce is literally dark brown and almost black. Strong hint of garlic and “wok hei”. Theirs had none of it. Generous in portion but horrible. Now the Mee Goreng… there is no Goreng, just wet noodles in curry sauce. The fried wantons were cooked in burnt frying oil as you could taste it when you bite into them.Didn’t even finish the dishes because they were that horrible and I won’t be returning to that establishment or even recommend any of my Malaysian or Singaporean friends.

Good medium sized restaurant. Pleasant staff. I ordered a Bak Kut Teh meal. Very disappointed. Soup lacks depth of flavour. There is more bones than meat and 2 pieces of tofu puff. It’s hardly satisfying apart from the generous serve of rice with close to nothing to eat with.I wouldn’t recommend this dish nor this place. It not cheap either, for a bowl of bones in soup.

I ordered a Chicken curry: only one piece of drumstick (which is still little bit raw in the middle) , few piece of potato, and some rice is even hard, it is undercooked.Curry Taste: nearly blend. The portion of the whole dish is a little bit too small.
