Nice spot in Yass.The coffee was Magic.The pie was full of goodness, and the quice was awesome.I saw French Toast go past.I'm going to try that next time!

Very cosy café and a favourite spot for local Riverbank Park-runners. Our little group from Canberra enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available and good to know the cafe supports local suppliers and seem to be environmentally friendly. Would love to go back for a home made pie sometime - maybe when we visit Yass for another Parkrun adventure. 4.5 ⭐️

I love love trader and co. My daughter and I try to go here most Fridays. If I could give more stars for this beautiful cafe I would they seriously deserve it.Food is absolutely amazing. I just recently had the halloumi burger and highly recommend it. I have also had their egg and bacon roll and the smash avocado and have never being disappointed.The Atmosphere is like been at home, I can read while I drink my tea and enjoy spending the time there with my little one. It has the most relaxing and inviting feel about it.Now the service! the lady's are all so kind, they are happy to help and are always so welcoming. The owner of this wonderful establishment should be so proud of the lovely lady's they have working there. And the incredibly business they have. if you looking for a cafe to stop in at this is the place. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered pie and quiche. Good sales pitch. Both were microwaved. Quiche was flavourless (threw it away), pie was OK, but do not order the relish, doesn't match and messy

Delightful breakfast place. High chairs available. Extra milk available on request. Bacon and egg roll has a delicious relish served with it. Noise levels for hearing impaired ok.

relaxing spot we had a lovely brunch. Great coffee and everything made in house (beef pie plus hash browns and beans). Hubby had beans plus bacon and feta. Tap water tasted a bit funny, would’ve been great if filtered.

What a fantastic cafe with ultra friendly service great tasting coffee and delicious cakes.What made this place standout was it's accessibility for people in wheelchairs. Something that was lacking in the main street of Yass.

We visited Trader & Co. on Easter Monday. The cafe was exceptionally busy and this review takes this into account. I can see how this place usually scores high, but I can only review based on my personal experience.I love the concept of the place and the ambience.Firstly I don’t believe the cafe were equipped to handle the volume of people and orders coming in. It took us 10-15 minutes to have our order taken. The lady behind the counter was lovely, but speed was an issue. The cafe staff seemed to acknowledge they were busy but they didn’t really do anything to help themselves. The lady at the service counter wandered off into the kitchen for a few minutes while people were waiting at the counter and the barista took it upon themselves to run out coffees to tables despite their being a 1/2 hour wait for coffees coming out.We were advised that there would be a 20 minute wait for our order, which was fine but it ended up being 45 minutes from ordering to collection (not counting the line up time to make the order).One poor lady before us just ordered a gourmet sausage roll with sauce with her coffee and she was left waiting for 40 minutes…When we received our order, my other half’s chai latte was luke warm and my coffee was weak. The bacon and egg roll, the egg was undercooked and hence I had to scrape the undercooked egg from the roll leading to just a bacon roll.I applaud the business for opening, there weren’t many options in Yass of businesses that decided to open. About half of the people who walked in, walked back out without ordering as they could see the really big line. Trader & Co. could have made more money if they were better organised.The problems could have easily been solved by staff picking up the pace and the kitchen batching orders together. If you see coming up there are 5 bacon and egg rolls on order, don’t cook each one individually… cook them all at the same time and get them out in one go.Judging by previous reviews this wouldn’t be an issue in quieter times, but running a business you should be able to cater for the busy and quiet periods.
