Quest Mackay on Gordon

I wish they were as passionate about providing comfortable beds as they are about the environment. Woke up in pain with sore back and shoulders every day from a terrible mattress, won’t stay here again for work.

I would recommend the Quest Mackay on Gordon. The rooms are spacious, we got a 2 bedroom looking towards the ocean.Benefits are the washing machine & dryer, pool, gym, parking underneath, pub on one side with Coles shopping and chemist on the other..Tip... Don't turn off the air conditioner as we struggled to cool the unit down again after doing so.. Shower and bathroom great size, coffee cups good size. Manager was on duty by herself and very assisting.

Ace location close to supermarket and bars. Easy walk to great coffee, and there is a safe place to park your car in a locked underground carpark. Rooms are clean and tidy, and the king double bed is first class. Many thanks

The room are very spacious, with kitchenette, the sofa can be used as bed, It's very open and clean. Everything are working in order. The office table had charging Dock attached and ready to use. Great for business travellers. Wifi also included which is a plus . The bathroom is bigger comparison to normal bathroom hotel and washing machine and dryer are also inside the bathroom. It's well maintained room even the hall way carpet are cleaned.It's nearby coles, jamaica blue and burger urge very convenient location. Managers and staff are friendly, they called and inform us regarding the keys of the hotel which is great service. (arrived 02.01.23)The only downside is the house cleaning are not consistent. Tuesday are amazing, they done up my bed,(which I do anyway) but not to the extend the way she do it) unload the dishes in the dish washer and empty all the rubbish, whoever on that day should be acknowledge if they keep doing with that kind of service it would be more than 5 star. Wednesday and Thursday, they just empty the rubbish. It's a bit slack on that days. That's why I scored 4 star for the service because they're lacking of that department but still have room for improvement.I will definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a great location to stay if you are in town for business. $20ish cab/uber from the airport, close to shops/food and great coffee and the staff are extremely friendly. I did not walk past one staff member without them acknowledging me and saying good morning" etc. Very good experience. Just be careful because there are more than one Quest in Mackay. The other one is only a few blocks away."

Lovely spacious and immaculately clean unit. The staff were very friendly. Close to a coles and walking distance to some fantastic restaurants. We will definitely stay again.

Great location. I even saw sunrise from balcony. Rooms are clean, I want to say special thank you to staff there, who were very courteous and thoughtful. We have 2 adults and 1 child booked for a 1 bedroom apartment, the staff made the sofa bed for us beforehand, which made our sleeping more comfortable.

Pretty standard hotel, no smart TV's in any rooms, comfortable beds/pillows, great amenities. Need more signage for exit of carpark.

Can walk into the city and to the restaurant and the room looked great.
