The scenery is nice… food is okay. I ordered a $7 coconut latte that was sour beyond anything I could describe and presented the issue to the cashier who just shrugged and said sorry. Shame on me for not learning the first time that their coffee is awful. I don’t think I’ll be back.

The food and service was great. We had a 40 minute wait for our order but we were advised of this before we ordered. The wait time was certainly worth every minute.

Always great food here. Fast service and the coffee leaves you wanting more! Take home a special sweet from the cake windows as a treat. Try the initial pineapple upside down cakes. Delicious. Right on the river, under the trees, in nature. A perfect spot!

Got the Eggs Benedict because they serve it on a savoury waffle which I had never had before and OMG so yummy! Coffee was strong which is a plus. Currently travelling around Australia and loved treating ourselves for breakfast here. Follow @lapwithnomap on IG.

If you’re looking for a tourist drive and good food, go up to Marian, Mackay. You’ll find Vintage Kiss in Melba House. The best Eggs Benny and Smashed Avo we’ve ever tried yet so far. Scones are freshly baked, with a feel of sweet homemade jam and cream. They’ve got a range of food you can choose from. Price is not as expensive as you would’ve expected since it is out of town. The staff are really nice and attentive to your orders. I just love it, it feels like home. See opening days and hours. It’s so worth the drive. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place at the Melba House, the food and staff were exceptional. beautiful surrounding right next to the Pioneer River. Maple and bacon pancakes were the best I've had in years,

The milkshakes were amazing. The food was delicious. The chickens walk around u wile eating. The music is nice and so r the gardens. Amazing service.

Happy, friendly staff, informed and accommodating to coeliac requirements. Delightful breakfast for all family, little ones and grown ups loved the waffles, eggs and bacon just right and great coffee.Looking forward to next visit already
