Very rewarding place to visit. It has a wonderful place to walk and the mine workings ruins are really worth it, even if you have kids. The trails can get quite steep but for those who cant walk it there are easier trails. This conservation park has the most amount of Xanthorrhoea or Grass Tree plants growing i hzve ever seen.

Great educational walk, the last remaining intact kiln im SA. The walk is approximately an hour half round trip at a leisurely stroll. There are steep sections to the track which may not be to everyones physical capabilities but nothing more extreme than odd heigh stairs. This section is optional and the main shaft, kiln and refinery is accessible about 10 mins down the path. Lots of quality signs for those interested in the historical side.Further up the lookout to Kangaroo Island is a noce short trek. Tip: take a photo of the map as you leave carpark.

What a great way to kill some time if you are around the area of Cape Jervis. The beautiful sights and views. Being able to walk through the history of the mines is incredible.I loved it.There's some great photo opportunities too!

So much history and the placement of information made it easy to visualise how it used to look. The graffiti was disappointing as it's a place of history but was still super cool. And the walk was nice on a cool breezy day

Fun short walk, steep descent and climb back out, some cool mine buildings. Also a great view across to Kangaroo Island.

The historic site is well signposted and some buildings are preserved. The ore is exposed on the main path before the turn off to the crusher. There are grass trees that look as old as the mine and some nice views of the coastline and Kangaroo Island..

Beautiful, historical walk. Very steep and not suitable for old people or little children.

The mine ruins illustrate typical mid nineteenth century Cornish mining and ore processing techniques and are an important remnant of South Australia's heritage.
