Niggles & Knots Remedial Massage

I've been coming here to see Merryn for a very long time. After needing some ongoing treatment for my back she not only progressively works with you and your body and your needs she is so intuitive to what's going on. She digs deeper and really helps your body heal.I've been seeing her for almost 8 years on and off for vario8s aliments and I've never had any other therapist do what she does. I highly recommend this place.

I went into the clinic tonight to treat some severe neck and back pain. The treatment was not remedial, if anything it was an oily rub down. A remedial massage is meant to be slow deep strokes with proper techniques like trigger point/myofascial release. The therapist needs to start by writing a treatment plan and slowing down during his treatment. The treatment was painful, in my health history form I outlined neck flexion was painful and he obviously did not read these notes. He also proceeded to try crack my back on the way out of the clinic. You’re not a physio, please stay within your scope of practice. I worked as a remedial massage therapist for 5 years and it’s painful to see customers charged $90 for something like that. I’m sure the rest of the staff are great considering the other reviews posted. I hate to give bad feedback but for massage I think it’s extremely important. The amount of oil used, your clinic will be dry by next month.

I called in to this practice for treatment on a recurring tightness I had been experiencing in my lower leg. I have had this problem intermittently for around 3 years and had seen other medical practitioners about it with minimal success. I saw Maneerat who achieved more in a one hour session than all the others combined. Very, very impressed.

Lovely atmosphere, great at explaining the treatment plan. Also explained why massage might not be best for me when I mentioned what I thought was unrelated issue at my second appointment. Would recommend this group to others seeking massage therapy.
