Ocean Road Motel
Rooms were clean and bed comfortable, but the owner was so rude that I can only give it three stars. The room smelled like cigarettes, and when we told him as much, he told us angrily that we were wrong, the room didn't smell like cigarettes, that nobody smokes in the rooms, and we were welcome to leave if we had a problem. (Of course he knew that there were no rooms available anywhere.)Also, we didn't have wifi access until the second day - the wifi password for Ocean Road Motel" is the same as for "Ocean Road Wifi" but with the first letter of each word capitalised."

I can't believe how such a dirty, neglected and old hotel is doing business in Australia in this century. Also Hotel officer Paul is a really rude and unsympathetic person, I definitely do not recommend you to stay in this hotel!

Worst motel ever.Prebooked room for 3 people but still got a room for 2 people and there was a old rude guy name paul.. he was soo much and told me to leave when i ask him that i booked a room for 3 people not 2.O/10 rating and paul was really disrespectful man.

One of the best most simplistic motel we’re ever stayed at. Paul and his lovely wife made sure our stay was perfect with a very welcoming space. Words cannot comprehend the hospitality and services provided by the team at Ocean Road Motel. The team provided a gift/refreshments for us with out a mention during our anniversary getaway stay for 2 nights. Love the scenery/cleanliness and the overall vibrant of this location. 10/10 recommendation! Thank you Paul and the team, we will be seeing you again soon,room #10

Ocean Road Motel
We made a great choice choosing to stay here. Planned on staying one night, then we quickly decided to extend our stay to three nights. The location was beautiful, gorgeous view and a sense of isolation (yet town being less than a 10 minute drive away). The man running the place was so warm and accommodating and seemed to be more than happy to help us. He had great knowledge of the local area and was able to let us know what attractions were best in town. We're very much open to the idea of returning again!

Overpriced and smelly room. It smelt like a dog had peed in the room. We weren’t given the right room either, we had booked a Panoramic room (2 months prior) but got a comfort room. So you can imagine how we felt when we arrived. We got a full refund (2 stars for giving us a refund). Luckily we stayed at Apollo Bay Holiday Park, which was in Apollo Bay and $130 cheaper per night.

This is the best place to enjoy a night or two if you are travelling to Great Ocean Road.The place is awesome and the most important is the hospitality.We forgot the name of the lady who manages the motel, but she is on her 70's but she is an amazing property manager.The rooms have bed heater which gives you peace sleep.For the breakfast, they have a huge kitchen and specious dinning facilities. Our breakfast was delicious.The manager played a musical instrument and her dog (Red) was singing the song, an amazing experience.My entire family is very happy with this place and the place has become highlights of our trip to the great Ocean drive.

This motel certainly exceeed my expectations. Beautiful location directly across from the Ocean. Lots of outside space. Amazing Sunrises and Moon rises. I left feeling so refreshed. Will be back soon Paul.

Beautiful Motel! 2nd time staying here & both times perfect, we have little ones so I thought it would have been difficult but this place proved us wrong. The view, parking, accommodation & the customer service was amazing, seriously no words! Paul you're awesome it's a delight seeing your bright smiling face everything morning even after we locked our key in our room he was kind enough to help us in the middle of the night & unlock the door for us. Biscuit the pupper is adorable & our kids can't get enough of him we will be back hopefully real soon! Thanks again. ☺️

The room was spotless ,very clean and comfortable. The pillow was magic and the hostess Paul was very friendly and full of information. Best stay on our travels so far 10/10
