Fabulous place, excellent curation, a wide range of timeless pieces, fair prices, very helpful and knowledgeable owners always in the shop. Why would anyone buy furniture from countries that use rainforest timber, exploit workers and burn carbon to ship copycat repro rubbish halfway around the word, when you can buy beautiful, elegant, furniture from this place that literally cannot be reproduced at any price.

The service here is fantastic! We bought a chest of drawers from here and when it got delivered we noticed there were a few dents that we weren't sure were there when we purchased it at the shop. The staff were very helpful and immediately took the piece back to assess and fix the dents. They took it on themselves to rectify the problem. The finished product was as brand new! Great customer service!

I just loved shopping at Grandfather’s Axe. We got a great highboard (a sideboard that goes up a bit higher, great for access). The whole end to end process was perfect and the prices and products are excellent.
