Cheap Cars Tasmania

I went there a few days ago to get some information about a car I am interested in. The seller couldn't answer any question. He was very unenthusiastic. I can't recommend to go there except you want to be treated badly.Even 1 star is too much. 0 stars

My young apprentice carpenter son was in the market for a work Ute and thought he had found the perfect car at Cheap Cars in Launceston. Living in Victoria but having an uncle in Launceston he got him on the job of taking a look at the vehicle on a Monday morning... my son spoke with Scott shortly after and said that he wanted the vehicle & was looking into shipping back to Victoria... Scott said that he was currently out of the office and would call him straight back once he got back to the office. After a couple of hours passed my son has called Scott again, being very keen to make this deal, but not hearing back from him only to be told that the vehicle has been sold half an hour earlier??!! What happened to customer service???Used car dealers always had a bad reputation but this guy takes the cake!!!

I thought buying from interstate would be complex but Zak made the whole process so easy, he answered all of my questions with lots of detail, provided detailed videos of the car, sorted shipping so it was no hassle at all and ran me through the paperwork and process of getting it registered in Victoria. Recently purchased a car from this yard. Sales person JACK said car in perfect condition and as a dealer they never sell any faulty vehicles. After getting the delivery of car there was a sound coming from engine and also audio system not working at all. so I went to MOTORS to inspect the car and they found the car need the NEW ENGINE and AUDIO SYSTEM. AND THE COST OF NEW ENGINE IS 15000$ plus another expense for audio system. I contacted JACK and he refused to take the car back and also not willing to repair the car. Now JACK is blaming me and told me as a CAR DEALER THEY JUST DO THE OIL CHANGE PRIOR TO SELL SOMEONE THAT IS WHY ITS CALLED USED CAR. No more response since then.NEVER EVER GO TO THIS DODGY BUSINESS.
