Shannon was phenomenal!! Shannon was both our DJ and our MC on the night. He communicated thoroughly with us in the lead up and offered us amazing deals with his other services, such as lawn games and a photobooth, which our guests loved. Shannon had the dance floor pumping and worked the room between sets. The guests have been raving about him and he even took photos for us on the night. Shannon was amazing! We got Shannon as our DJ and MC for ceremony and reception at Yarra ranges estate. We also added the Hollywood light up love letters and photobooth with greenery wall - the event hire girl and photobooth girl. Leading up to the day, Shannon was so organised, professional and experienced. He sent us these to fill in and gave a lot of recommendations - questionnaire, song list and runsheet. It was so easy to speak to Shannon via Facebook messenger via text messages and voice messages. We are so thankful we had him for our day, the day went by so smoothly. He also helped us take photos of our guests and throughout the reception (see the photo from our first dance).

Would I recommend Shannon from Music with Memories? HELL YES!!! Shannon was by far my most proactive supplier with constant communication from booking right up until the day of the wedding. His music was #partygoals! We always had a full dance floor and we had heaps of guests come up to us during and after the wedding saying how awesome he and the music is! Shannon was our MC as well, he really got our guests to interact and made sure our night ran smoothly. Everything went off without a hitch and I honestly think this is a large part of the preparation Shannon does prior to the actual night. It honestly felt he was just as invested and excited for our wedding as we were. We hired LOVE letters which was an awesome statement piece in our reception and dry ice which made our first dance look like we were dancing in the clouds, the photos are amazing because of it! Shannon does roaming photos which were uploaded the next day so not only did we get photos from our reception immediately (professional photography isn’t instant so trust me you appreciate these photos) but he captured the evenings in between moments of people laughing and dancing (guaranteed laughs right there). We also hired a Photobooth through Shannon’s lovely wife Nat ‘The Photobooth Girl’ and a Greenery wall with neon sign saying ‘Happily Ever After’ and lawn games through their business ‘The Event Hire Girl’. It was all amazing additions to our perfect evening. Shannon and Nat work seamlessly together and an amazing team so it all just worked which I’m sure any brides or grooms out there can appreciate. By the end of the night they became to feel like family because they put every single amount of energy into making our night perfect and made us feel so special. I can not recommend their businesses enough and I can promise you that you will not regret it if you book any of their wedding services especially DJ with Music with Memories.

Would absolutely recommend Shannon from Music with Memories. He was so fantastic. We went to a wedding in 2018 where Shannon was the DJ and MC and we thought he was extremely professional, so we hired him for our own wedding in August 2019. He did not disappoint. Contacting Shannon was so easy and he was always very responsive and organised. Leading up to the wedding I was 100% confident in Shannon and his ability to deliver. On the day he was there early to set up and checked in with me to make sure everything was okay. He was a wonderful MC, funny and organised. As a DJ he was phenomenal! Many of my guests said they loved loved loved the music and everyone got up and danced. And finally the roaming photo's! I haven't even received my professional photo's yet but Shannon uploaded photos from my wedding only a few days later and they are really well taken and edited and he captured some beautiful memories. I could not say anything bad about the service I received from Shannon. Make sure you book him early! You won't regret it.

Shannon did an excellent job as DJ/MC. He was able to read the crowd and choose the right music to keep our guests on the dance floor! Everyone commented on what a great job he did!He also took the stress out of the timing of everything and reminded us what was coming up. This helped make our reception stress-free!

Where do I begin? Shannon was an absolute dream to work with. Not only did he create great vibes on the day of our wedding, but he was organised - oh, so organised!!! As an anxious Type A bride, this was music to my ears (no pun intended!). I first found Shannon via Instagram, where he shares plenty of content. Give him a follow, and you will notice he often does back-to-back weddings. Despite being this busy, he showed up with passion, energy and a 20/10 attitude on our big day. In the lead-up, he was responsive and always available to offer advice + support. Shannon worked well alongside our other vendors and did a fabulous job of choosing the right tunes to get our guests on the dance floor, which was packed the entire time!In addition to his DJ duties, he was our MC and went over and above structuring the day, even to the extent of personally approaching every person who was about to do a speech and reminding them. I know by this point you might think he couldn't get better, but he DOES; Shannon used a professional camera to take additional photos of guests and my new hubby and I throughout the evening and shared the album with us post-wedding. He captured incredible photos of our guests, which were so special to us. A bonus that was unexpected but greatly appreciated.Thanks for everything, Shannon; we would recommend you in a heartbeat to any future couple about to embark on their wedding planning journey!
