Rob's Kitchen Cafe

Good coffee. Location overlooks part of Kogarah bay, the cafe is nice, comfy and open. The open omelette is nice and good portion too. My wife ordered the Acai with sweet yoghurt and for a moment it felt like it was still summer coz the presentation was so tropical. This is our new quite spot!

This is one delightful on trend" little cafe. It's tucked away in a quiet street just off the Princes Hwy. It's location has great parking right on its doorstep! Small and very personable

We had a booking but our table was placed right near the sliding door, which customers kept leaving open so were constantly blasted with cold air from outside and had to keep closing the door ourselves. After being seated, we had to grab our own menus and ordered at the counter. We ordered a filo pastry to start with, which was a good thing as it took a good 20 mins for our coffees to arrive and another 30 mins for our food. Priority was given to takeaway orders as I watched at least 5 takeaway coffees and a large takeaway order prepared before our coffees, even though these customers walked in after us. Other customers were also given soups “compliments of the chef” while they waited (both eat in and takeaway customers) except us. When our food finally arrived, the “truffles eggplant” that was on their specials board was basically the eggplant parmigiana on the menu and it had no truffle flavour whatsoever. The lady also failed to charge us for the filo pastry which she must’ve forgotten about since she had served it to us over an hour before paying our bill. We thought we had found a local gem we could go to for weekend brunches but unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Recommend the corn fritters and an ice long black! Creamy and smooth. Lovely food and service.

Came here with my family and we were quite pleased with our experience. We were greeted immediately and provided seating early even though we came before our booking. Service was attentive and the food there was of good quality. We were also provided with a soup which was quite nice. Pricing is a little steep and though food was good, the price isn’t justified quite yet.One thing that did bother us was that on the burgers it doesn’t state that it comes with a side of chips (even though the steak sandwich explicitly says so). In saying that we ordered two sides on top to only find out our burgers already had them which meant an additional $20 were added for no reason. We were provided with a paper bag to take the rest home though. Perhaps the menu needs editing to avoid further confusion?

Lovely local cafe, run very professionally by immensely friendly people. The food is great, everything is fresh and the coffee is delicious.

Surprising find on a suburban street. We saw a guy sitting in the window eating a burger and did a quick turn to park up. Great Toby's estate coffee, right temperature to drink straight away. Huge breakfast burger, with heaps of bacon was a delicious mess. And a tasty ham and cheese paninni rounded off our meal. The space was large a bright with huge windows and covid safe measures. The staff were friendly and the service was fast.

Totally worth breakfast special with the Fork. Cafe nested in quite street. Looks like customers are mostly locals, dishes were delicious and beautifully plated.

We ordered the truffle Bay special that we previously had and enjoyed very much, unfortunately this time the coating on the eggs was way too thick. The patato and leek soup was great. Order & pay at the counter is a bit inconvenient..

Delightful place. It's one of those cafés where you don't need to add sugar to the coffee because the barista knows their job. They have a small range of delicious pastries and fruit. I also love the style of the place.
