I don't usually put much time into negative reviews for companies but I'm frustrated enough now to warrant it. The short version is that I find Reece's attitude towards non-trade customers poor at times. We buy bits and pieces for the farm from Reece maybe once or twice a year but the general vibe I feel in the store is that they'd rather not deal with us.The story that prompted this review: I ordered towel rails online on a Sunday thinking that they'd probably take a few days to get into the store. No big deal. Fast forward a few hours to this mornin when I get a call from the store saying the towel rails I've ordered are in stock and ready to collect. Awesome bit of luck there.My wife unfortunately had to take her nan to the hospital this morning and takes the opportunity to run a few errands in Murray Bridge while she's there. I send her to Reece to pick up the towel rails only to be told that they know nothing about the order, cant find anyone in the store who rang me this morning and don't have those items in stock.After about 15 minutes in the store with no one unable to find anything to do with the order, my wife leaves and I give the store a ring a few minutes later. Unsurprisingly, the order is found in the 'online orders box', with the parts, ready to collect. Apparently the guy that called in the morning had finished for the day before my wife visted the store.This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but as a store this really shouldn't have happened.I'll be back to buy more parts in the future for sure, but please do better.
