Turn all the lights off at 10, lock all of the social areas and tell you it’s quiet time when you’re sitting silently on bench outside. Very poor hostel to socialise and night staff very miserable. 5 bed room cramped but had ac so ok.Check in staff were friendly.

Its a pretty good hostel all things considered.The hostel has a lot of good common areas like the pool, the seating area upstairs, the poolside chairs and the tv space with the couches.Pool - needs to be cleaned, kinda dirty.Rooms - We booked a private room and it was fine, but kinda empty - just a bed and a place to hang some coats.Bathrooms - are kinda dirty: the womens showers on the second floor had used tampons on the floor (twice), and the mens bathroom on the second floor are missing a lock in one of the stalls and are moldy.Kitchen - clean and equipped, kinda crammed with peoples stuff.

good location, good vibe, we were there Friday Saturday & Sunday & it was partying every night, we still got a really good sleep though. Seemed to be a lot of Australians just weekending, a few backpackers. Everything was clean, the kitchen & showers were good, the pool was nice, staff were helpful! The cafe right next to the hostel is super cute, and only a 2 minute walk to Aldi & beach. Would stay here again!

Overall this hostel was really nice experience, the staff were friendly upon checkin, and throughout our time spent here. The common areas are nice but the indoors one could do with AC as it turns into a sauna. The room was nice, a 5 bed family rooms, the AC was super nice, slight ant problem but nothing massive. The toilet and shower facilities could definitely do with some work but we’re not the worst. The male upstairs hadn’t been done up to the same standard as the downstairs one, and vice versa for the females. I think with the amount of people staying the toilets and showers could do with being cleaned more times during the day. Nice washing and drying facilities although need a new iron as it was very burnt. The kitchen was well equipped although could do with extractors or fans to help with the heat. Also mould at the very back of the fridges.

$75 a night for a cramped room air con as loud as anything, check in process was a joke, rooms smelt.It’s a joke you can pay an extra $50 to stay anywhere else.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at! I stayed for one and a half weeks in a female five dorm room and it was an absolutely pleasant stay! The pool is very nice and the rooms get cleaned every day. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean. The staff is super friendly, the movie nights organized by them are fun and the surf boards and wet suits to hire are super cheap and in good quality! The kitchen needs some tidying up once in a while but even that was mostly because of the visitors not cleaning up after themselves. All in all awesome to stay, especially for a longer stay (very very social hostel!)

one of the cleanest hostels I've stayed in while travelling the east coast. the kitchen was never dirty, never saw dishes in the sink, unheard of for hostel living.
