Really worth a visit. It’s housed in one of the few buildings that survived the 2009 bushfires and there’s plenty of info (and archives) to read and keep you busy as well as a shed and rose gardens. It was manned by a husband and wife team that were a wealth of information.

Amazing history here. I actually learned so much stuff. There was a huge 50s Hollywood film made in and around Melbourne that I had no idea about. A room full of historical records to peruse. Plenty of old trinkets, books, photos and items from history. Lots of info about the area and surrounds. The shed outside has lots of cool old farm equipment. Definitely worth a visit while here. We spent about an hour here but could do longer if you wanted to look further into the historical records. Great for people wanting to learn about their family or town history.

A step back in time. Remembering the bush fires of 2009 which came to be called Black Saturday. View collected video footage of that event from personal as well as TV collections. Other important memorabilia of the people of Marysville also represented here.
