They do sell faulty items and then claim returns are change of mind. Shameful some workers attitude when they claim they are not for profit. Avoid the blonde girl in the pickup back section she needs to be educated on ettiquettes.Overall compared to the Hornsby or St Peters store products and staff mannerisms this Lidcombe Salvos is like a chaotic war torn country store an embarassing and unpleasant place to be in. Luckily for me first and last time.

Our go-to trift store. We have been here many times. It's a large store with more clothing on display than some of the other Salvos such as the one in Leichhardt. Often a great selection. Have picked up some lovely tops, necklaces and kids clothes.

Handy place in Lidcombe to drop off/donate books clothes etc to Salvos. Parking is a bit tight as it’s also used for the gym next door

Plenty of parking . Very clean shop. Friendly staff & volunteers. New manager Adam & his team doing a great job in presenting the shop. Love the visual merchandising. Need to improve furniture display. Love the new colours coordinations. Must visit charity shop. Need more air circulation. Overall good shop , not much valuable antique, more like regular daily items in Bric A Brac .

Large store. Worth a visit. Entrance is in car park behind building. Catch a bus from Lidcombe station if using public transport.Lots of stuffs to browse through and you might find something nice.In general prices are not very cheap. You can still find some $5-6 shirts.I got a nice ring for just $1!Friendly service.

Lots of brand new clothing from high end boutiques. Got a dress, pants and skirt all with tags still on it originally over $150 for $30 and under. Lots of duplicates left. So happy I stopped

One of my best and favorite Salvos store I've been to within Sydney.A large store with plenty of furniture and other items. Staff are very friendly and prices reasonable.At this store you can purchase a bag of books for $10.

A great hidden treasure of the west. Often great bargains to be had here, with quirky finds. I often find the best sections are the men blazers and jeans and the home wares. The staff are friendly and helpful. The change rooms are clean and the stock is always neat which makes coming to this salvos so nice.

I thought it would be a waste to throw away the metal hanger, so I disassembled it and took it to the Salvation Army Recycling Center, but it was rejected. I thought it would be a very good thing to recycle, but it wasn't a completed product, so I had to bring it back. And I don't understand that I have to move the donated items to the designated place. I gave it to the junk dealer on my way home, and no matter how much I think about it, it doesn't make sense. I don't know what the other services of the staff there are like, but as someone who donates or uses them occasionally, I don't understand. If I only welcome good things from what I bring, and have a different expression for what I think is not good, should all second-hand goods be sold only what the people who work there like? I write this article hoping to be prudent about my clients' needs and the decisions they make.

Well organised shop. Easy to find things. Good prices and helpful staff. The interior is being changed to a new design.
