APM Employment Services - Chermside

These guys set people up for failure. A terrible service. It seems obvious they are i it for themselves well over and above the clients they are meant to be serving. I was told not to come in for a jobseeker appointment because they would call me. They never called. When I went in person they couldn’t explain why neither their main phone numbers or messages I left in mobile numbers were never received. They acknowledged some level of mistake on their part but then did the same thing next fortnight. Told me explicitly not to come in because they would phone me. They never called ofcourse. From that point I was taken off jobseeker by service Australia. When I phoned services Australia they told me APM has never left any notes on my file as to what happened. Just that I had no good reason for not making the appointments. All appointments which they failed to meet, not me. I imagine there may be some incentive for removing people from their list. Maybe some financial reward from the government each time a person is removed. Incompetent scammers. Beware. Don’t trust them if they say they will phone you. Make sure you go in every time. Hold them to account and get them to do their work. They are lazy and deceitful. If they try to make things more difficult now because of this review I’d like them to know that I recorded our conversation when I went in to see them so I am ready to go if they want to walk this path with me. They shouldn’t even be in business as far as I’m concerned.

Whoever the woman is i just had was so rude, making out almost like a was trying to rort the system and that the government isnt there to just hand out money as if i just want to sit around and not work which i was honest about engaging with a job that i should have very soon. Made assumptions towards my ability to be a parent also.

The APM Des agents constantly sit around and chat while clients are waiting.

Don't hold your breath waiting for follow up or contact from APM Chermside. I was always kept waiting at appointments. It's impossible to talk to an Advisor or get an answer via email, phone, mobile or any other means. On the two occasions I had to use this Provider to obtain Jobseeker, I ended up finding work myself. A word of advice. Don't put yourself in an even more stressful situation by using APM - Looking for work in these times is stressful enough. Back yourself and go for it on your own.

Been with APM on and off over a period of 6 years. But have ALWAYS found my own jobs. Never ever got a referral or appointment for a job they said they would find for me. I don’t see or understand how the government still supports and pays them ???

if you want to be insulted and badly treated , you can go to this centre and meet (one of the staff).the problem is when I was trying to call her manager ,and send to her voice message for three times, but she didn't even answer or gave any comment.this place is really worse on to seek for job or improve your life.insulation , bullying, discrimination .I hope the manager can read this comment and call me back, that bad woman there as well.I hope that no one goes there to keep his dignity it doesn't deserve even one star.if there is negative star I will do it

They are rude, disrespectful and don’t care about your personal situation, if you are thinking of going through them as your Centrelink jobactive watch out, they suspend payments first and ask questions later, going through APM has been the worst decision I’ve made.
