Easy access to the water, via stairs, with some dog-friendly zones. Good picnic facilities with covered tables and BBQs. Parking can be tight at popular times. Shops, toilets, playground nearby and more beach spots down the road.

Definitely a place to relax.The beach is usually very quiet, the most I've seen is five other people, but it's generally around one to two others.The water is very clear and unpolluted, and there is no litter on the beach.The beach itself is massive and has a massive mostly flat dune between the road and the ocean, which is full of crabs! The crabs don't attack and will just bury themselves when you get cloae. Some of them let you pick them up, which is very fun.I love this beach, the air is incredibly clear and it's a surreal place to spend hours at.

Beachmere is a wonderfully charming village by the bay.Step back a pace, throw a line in the sea or the river, sit back and chat and wait for dinner to come.Excellent family outing at Beachmere.CheersA delighted visitor to Beachmere, I will come again and again...

Beautiful spot to see the sunrise. When the tide is out it’s a beautiful walk out to the water. Keep an eye out for the soldier crabs too. When the tide is in, there isn’t much of a beach for kids to play on.
