Freycinet Lodge

Great location and beautiful place to visit. Our room was lovely and had a nice view of the water. The bed however was one of the worst hotel beds we have slept on. It was two king singles pushed together and made as one to be the 'king bed' advertised. They were different heights and by middle of night were pushing apart with a huge hollow in the middle. Looked nice upon check in (see photo) until we pulled back the covers later that night to go to sleep. Mentioned to reception on check out and they said management would give me a call. Received a generic email survey few days later and reported it again with request of follow up phone call. A month later now and haven't had any phone calls. Very disappointing considering the price of the room ($570 for 1 night!), and lack of customer service. Avoid room 1 if you are a couple expecting a good bed!

We stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, there was an issue that the lodge could not have been aware of in advance. The issue was resolved quickly and very efficiently. The staff in all parts of the lodge were so friendly and efficient. We had a most pleasant stay for the 3 days. The lodge is so well placed and has excellent facilities and food.

Had a fantastic stay for our honeymoon. Service was amazing. Samuel on reception was very helpful and welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant and Nicolas and Pablo made our dinner experience exceptional. We stayed in a coastal pavilion room and the room was amazing

The wow factor kicks in here. Beautiful cabins with balcony. A bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Amazing food. Very helpful staff. The surrounding beaches are stunning. Loved it here and will be back. Brilliant.

We stayed at Freycinet Lodge for one night on our honeymoon and had the most wonderful experience. The room was luxuriously appointed, the electronic blinds and free mini bar were special highlights and the included breakfast was delicious. Special shout out to the restaurant - the food was incredible and the staff made us feel very special. Incredible experience to stay within the national park, the views were spectacular.

We had a really great stay here. The room was secluded, spacious and super comfortable. The breakfast was great. Highly recommended!

Stayed for two nights. Spacious, comfortable accommodation, with free mini bar stocked daily. Our room had a spa and was a short walk to the idyllic beach. The lodge facilities were first class and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Great location & ambience. Love the fire place & large deck to look at the views. We didn't stay, maybe next time.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was amazing. I was very impressed and didn’t expect it to be as wonderful. The cabin we stayed in was so cute, chocolate and champagne complimentary in the room, so close to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen and super close to the wineglass bay walk. Breakfast was included and I expected a buffet but you ordered from the menu like a restaurant.

Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff. We stayed for two nights and were welcomed with sparkling wine and chocolate in the hotel room fridge. After returning from our hike the staff had left some relaxing tea bags for us and a cute welcome back note.There are two dinner options on site, a restaurant and a less expensive bistro. We enjoyed two delicious meals in the bistro. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended.
