The most unprofessional and degrading experience I've ever had. From top management of the branches to lower level staff...these people should not be operating a government assisted agency. It's blatantly immoral to use the government to coerce people into work. Your job is to assist people with disabilities not threaten them.

Absolutely, highly recommended non for profit Agency.When I joined with OCTEC I was very open about my chronic health conditions and my mental health conditions.. even when I met stuff that I wasn't fond of I spoke to the head manager and she was able to assist me and communicate effectively how important it is for clients to be treated with respect and to feel comfortable with in the office..I highly recommend if you are looking for work or study Arctic is the place to go because they are not-for-profit they are not about making money off you there about creating an opportunity for you to study and then work the job you want..I also keep in mind that they are still employed by the government therefore they have guidelines and rules to follow such as encouraging clients to work..If you're a client who needs more of a person-centred approach discuss this with your employment agent or request to be with a different employment agent that can work with you more person centred and tailored to your disability needs ...
